Monthly Rentals in Little Squam Lake

We stayed at Ryan's place with our young family during school winter vacation. The space was beautiful and clean and the view of the lake across the street was stunning. We got snowed in for about 24 hours of our stay due to a big winter storm and appreciated having space for our kids to play indoors (the bunk beds were a hit). When the weather cleared we were an easy drive of some fun winter attractions like tubing and ice castles.

This is the best airbnb we have ever stayed in. And we’ve done our fair share of travel! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my 30th birthday here and had a great time with plenty to do even with a rainy/cloudy weekend. We slept 8 & a dog comfortably. We loved the fire pit, sugar shack, proximity to Walter’s Basin, Inn Kitchen & Bar, West Rattlesnake Mountain, and nearby ice cream shop! We even drove down to Winnipesauke Boat Rentals in Laconia to rent a boat for the day. The airbnb was a perfect place to be for down time- there are so many amenities and the hosts really go the extra mile for you!! Such a nice stay, we would definitely book here again.

Sandra's AirBnB at the Ice House Creamery is a wonderful stay. The decor is a rustic millenial grey with a Squam Lake vibe. Plenty of space. Easy entry and exit to get to Holderness, Ashland, Meredith, Weirs Beach, Laconia etc. Hiking trails are around the corner (go to the Rattlesnake hike but bring plenty of bug spray.). The Science Center is really excellent as well. Kudos to Sandra for responding to a major flooding issue within minutes (a heavy downpour caused flooding in the master bedroom) and was rectified quickly. We visited just as the Creamery opened which has excellent options. A couple notes for visitors: 1) Cell Service is not existent in many areas but the WiFi is solid at the AirBnB. 2) If the Creamery is open, you will experience visitors in and out of shop which is directly connected so don't expect full privacy. There are neighbors upstairs as well and the private beach across the street is "private"~ish but there was an aggressive dog off-leash. Would recommend.

Great location if you need to attend an event at Plymouth State University. Walking distance to the campus.
