Villa holiday rentals in Limón Province

I have rented houses in the Dominical/ Uvita/ Ojochal over a dozen times and Roberto and Diana's place has been my favorite by far. Not only is the property extremely unique in it's design and layout, it's amenities, location and incredible view is unmatched. Typically speaking, in this area of Costa Rica, a house with a view this amazing will require a 10 - 15 minute drive up hill. This house is a 5 minute drive from so much and within 20 minutes of everything we wanted to do. This made traveling with kids so easy and allowed us to really explore the area while also relaxing at the house often. This house is more than worth it, especially for the reasonable nightly rate in comparison to similar properties. Pura Vida 🌴

Meine Freundin und ich haben die Unterkunft von Debbie geliebt! 🥰 Die Details und der Einrichtungsstil im Schlafzimmer haben uns sofort wie zuhause fühlen lassen. Alles wurde mit sehr viel Liebe hergerichtet und Debbie hat defintiv ein Auge für schöne Dinge ✨️ Das Bett ist extra groß und die Bettwäsche extrem weich und angenehm zum Schlafen. Es hat neben zwei Ventilatoren sogar eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Die Außenküche ist mit allem notwendige ausgestattet und das Kochen sowie Essen umgeben von vielen schönen Pflanzen hat uns super gut gefallen. Weitere Highlights waren für uns die Außendusche sowie der Salzwasserpool. Eine wahrlich romantische Unterkunft die nur wenige Gehminuten vom Marino Ballena Nationalpark entfernt ist. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir sogar noch zwei weitere Nächte dazu gebucht haben. Die Kommunikation mit Debbie war spitze. Debbie hat mit dieser Unterkunft eine tolle Oase erschaffen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank & pura vida! 🌺🌴🐚

Paradise. This location is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, and a true experience of being in Costa Rica nature. The property is surrounded by beautiful foliage, and has an amazing Mountain View. We loved watching the weather patterns throughout the days and the sunrises. The bed and linens are comfortable. The pool is relaxing and the perfect design with shallow and deep ends. We loved our experience and would absolutely return. It's definitely worth the short drive up the mountain to experience the amenities of this property.

This is our third stay here in three years and it is something we always look forward to. We can't wait to come back! The surroundings are incredible, and we love the layout of the house, which works so well for us. We come to Costa Rica for the wildlife, and we certainly get that when we stay here! We wake with the howlers and fall asleep to the sounds of the nocturnal creatures. For people wanting a private place to observe nature, this place will not disappoint: from the variety of birds, the howlers and capuchins, to the geckos that hunt at night. Thank you for being such a kind and responsive host!

The home, amenities, host are all top notch. I would just give caution to those about the access to the house is likely not for everybody. I was fine with it, but it is very steep 15-20 min from Uvita that is on some switchback nearly single lane roads. 4X4 is required because it is challenging and it makes for wanting to run to town or coming back late at night a bit of a hassle. The road was shut down at one point and we had to take a literal Jungle trail (was pretty wild and a bit sketchy) . With that said if you crave a little extra adventure and like the Road Not Taken by Robert Frost then this may be for you, the actual views and home are top notch. Host were great lots of great info.

I have stayed in dozens of Airbnbs around the world and this one was absolutely immaculate and quite possibly my favorite. The property itself has been curated with deep intention and an artistic eye. It was the first time I have ever stayed in an Airbnb that truly exceeded the expectations portrayed in the already beautiful photos. The views are some of the best I’ve ever seen, the house is stunning and impressive and brought together with a truly designer flair to it. Every detail was thoughtful and of quality. Pascal and Virginie were wonderful hosts and the home cooked breakfast they offer is phenomenal and as gorgeously prepared with the same attention to detail that the property boasts. I will be retuning and recommending this property to friends as family as well!

Absolutely beautiful place. Paradise Pictures don’t do it justice. Sitting on the patio having coffee every morning listening to the sounds of the rainforest is a truly incredible experience. Everything you need is here. There’s a small marketplace and 2 spectacular restaurants about 500meters up the hill. You can walk to them but you better be in great shape. I would recommend driving. Also highly recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle.

This is a beautiful place located in the jungle of Uvita. If you are scared of bugs and animals this place is not for you. With a dope open architect design you will feel like you’re in nature!

What a stunning location and home! Everything about Villa Toucan and Villa Macaw was thought out. The outdoor bathrooms (beautiful!), the open kitchen and dining are (outstanding), the lovely, helpful staff (priceless)! All in all we had an amazing holiday in your home. We do apologize for the shift and widening of your driveway, following our transport getting stuck!!! You’re not kidding when you say a 4x4 is needed in the rainy season! But we had a healthy and active group of 15 and we’re able to walk the driveway on many occasions! Superb location that allows you to stay IN THE JUNGLE, but so close to so many great beaches and activities!

This place is amazing. The views are spectacular! Jorge showed us around as soon as we arrived and was very informative. We saw Toucans from the pool area and heard the Howling Monkeys early in the morning. You will need a 4x4 to get up to the house, the road can difficult if it's raining. The bedrooms have A/C, but the main area with the kitchen does not. Because of this you will need to open the doors completely and this does cause bugs to be attracted to the lights in the house especially at night. It would have been nice to be able to close the screen to prevent spiders and flying bugs inside the house, but it was locked. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and a washer and dryer if needed. The pool was too cold for us to get into, but that would have been an amazing experience as well. Just FYI, they have cameras around the entire outside. Front and back, so when you are outside enjoying the views they will have access to the area.

Our stay was magical. The house absolutely exceeded expectations from the minute we arrived. The view was spectacular, the pool was beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the decor was comfortable and inviting. A 10 out of 10!

This home is absolutely magical! Perched atop a mountain, it offers sweeping panoramic views of the ocean and the iconic Whale’s Tail beach—truly one of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen. Surrounded by treetops, we were treated to daily visits from howler monkeys, toucans, and other vibrant bird species, making the experience feel like a luxury treehouse retreat. The house itself is beautifully designed and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The negative edge pool is a showstopper—floating there while taking in the endless ocean view was unforgettable. What truly sets this property apart is the host. Incredibly helpful and attentive, he provided concierge-level service, arranging our transportation to and from the airport, a rental car delivered right to the house, and even a private chef who cooked us some amazing meals. We could not have asked for more a better experience.

We came to the jungle villa in 2018. We were so enchanted by this house and the beauty of its surroundings that we knew we would be back again. Came back again for my birthday this year and yes it felt like home!! The people, the FOOD in the local restaurants, and the beauty of this country is amazing! Looking forward to returning someday. Thank you Leslie, Ana, and Arturo for being amazing hosts.

We were staying at a nearby Airbnb when it lost power. I found Lizette’s place and messaged asking if they had power. She was quick to respond that they did. Their self check in option made our emergency last minute check in a breeze. Any time we needed something she was so quick to respond. The place itself is in an insanely gorgeous location. It’s a gated community and very safe. Beautiful sunrises/sunsets overlooking the ocean. We saw coati and iguanas. The place was incredibly clean. Like immaculate, really. It’s nearby to everything you need, about 3 minutes to town. Could not recommend this place enough it was an absolutely dream!

Villa Temenos is simply fantastic! We had the most wonderful stay. Truly so peaceful and beautiful, with toucans and macaws stopping by in the trees outside to say hello. Henry, the caretaker, is the friendliest and kindest person around. It was truly the best trip to relax & unwind within nature. The location to town is great and super easy to run in and out for groceries or to grab a bite to eat. The outdoor living space truly makes the villa! My husband and I kept commenting on how we’d never spent so much time outside on a trip and we loved it! We were there during the start of the green season so were able to have perfect mornings and afternoons then hangout under the covered area to listen to the evening rain and storms. Dean was responsive, hospitable, and provided the most helpful home guide. Truly appreciated! We can’t wait to return. Pura vida!

This house is one of a kind: beautiful colonial architecture, all in wood, lovely garden and amazing terraces and balcony fully furnished with the best taste.lovely pool built in stone! Inside is also surprising. Antiques, art, design objects, old postcards from Cuba, beautiful lamps, an amazing porch and many more totally unexpected bedrooms and bathrooms. Very good WiFi as well as air conditioning and fans. We loved it!!! Jerome was very helpful and always in contact with us! He was so kind that he let us check out late afternoon which was really helpful as my daughter was working remote. I traveled with my husband and daughter and the house is really spacious, well located: close to puerto Viejo and to playa cocles I definitely recommend it specially if you value quality and beauty Hope to come back soon!!

Casa práctica para ir en familia, buena distribución y una cocina que te invita a usarla... Zona privada, adónde se respira paz y tranquilidad rodeado de arboles y animales. Lo recomiendo al 100% si vas con la mentalidad de conectarse con la naturaleza y descansar. Tomen en cuenta que al estar en una zona boscosa hay mucho insecto, no obstante, es lo normal en la zona. Esperamos regresar el próximo año.

Villa in Paradise!! We absolutely loved our stay. Perfect for groups of friends or family because everyone has the privacy of their own bungalow. The host is extremely responsive, friendly, and proactive. We would love to come back!

Lorna and Frank are great hosts. House is beautiful on the side of the hill right in the tropical forest. You have your private Toucans who welcome you every morning on the Papaya tree next to the pool. Views are stunning especially early morning (6am). We loved that house is very bright, so we could spot every little bug that decided to visit us. Extremely clean. Besides toucans there is plenty to watch. No spoilers here. YES you need 4 wheel drive car. Especially in the rainy season. YES you really need it. Can you make it with 2wd? You can when it’s dry. But after rain you won’t make it up the hill. Bring the binoculars. Yes you need them. Good flashlight might be useful as well. Pretty frequent, but usually short power outages. Dominical beach is not that great - but Uvita and Manuel Antonio are both stunning. Do the Rainmaker, you won’t regret a dime. On the way up to Platanillo the first fruit stand on the right is great and with local prices. We had wonderful time!
