Our stay at this home was nothing short of magical. Waking up to the sounds of nature and watching toucans play in the trees each morning was an unforgettable experience. The views were absolutely breathtaking, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Afternoons by the pool were pure bliss, offering a serene escape surrounded by lush greenery. The home itself was beautifully designed, well-equipped, and provided all the comforts needed for a perfect stay. Spotless, comfortable cabin on a citrus orchard. The restaurant on the property has amazing food and excellent service. I’d stay here again.

The house and the impeccable experience, we really liked it and the stay was very quiet, great vacation home. Just a few small details to take into account, the place has very little signal for Kölbi, almost nil. With Movistar, a little more signal arrives. The screen didn't connect to any network, so you couldn't watch movies. I asked the host how the Jacuzzi worked and did not respond. Until the 3rd day, the jacuzzi reached a warm temperature. Everything else, the pool, rooms, board games, super well and beautiful.

This place is great before and after hiking Chirripó. They will pack you breakfast to take on your early hike up Chirripó and arrange transportation to the start of the trail (at your own expense). The staff is very friendly, we were caught by surprise that we couldn’t cook in the cabin after buying groceries but the hosts were friendly enough to let us cook in their restaurant kitchen since there were no restaurants open. The cabin itself is beautiful, very peaceful and clean.

Perfect place

Great place, great host. Upon arrival by boat, we were received directly and everything necessary was explained. Requests were responded to and helped quickly. Very clean space with smart TV, coffee maker, fridge (very clean) and great bathroom. Very cozy bed overlooking the lagoon. In the morning (5.30 am) you can hear howler monkeys. The place is about 15 min from the center, the path can be found very intuitively. All in all highly recommended and great host 👍👍

Julio, the owner, is a flawless person. She was in charge of organizing everything since our arrival at the port of la Pavona. When we arrived in Tortuguero, she was already waiting for us and she accompanied us to the room. Everything was very clean and the beds were very good. We took 2 excursions with it and were excellent. Night and canoe tour. Julio knows a lot. We were 3 veterinarians and we still learned a lot from him. 100% recommended. We repeat for sure.

Beautiful and quiet place. Just to disconnect from everything and really rest. Place with many areas to relax and truly relax. Lucia is super attentive and worried because you really feel at home. A orchard with fresh and delicious produce. I hope to be back soon!

A place I would return to many times , very quiet and close to the main beaches. adjusted to our need. Excellent attention from start to finish.

The place is very nice, more spacious than the photos show. Sleeping with the sound of the river is extremely relaxing, and we had a great time. The road to get there is very accessible and any type of car can get there. There's no phone signal, but the Wi-Fi is more than enough.

Gissel's house is a cute jungle home! The green yard in the front is super peaceful and the front patio is an awesome place to hang out during any time of the day. It's also well located just a minute away from the Costanera so you can easily access Uvita or Domi when needed.

This was a lovely quiet area just on the edge of town, easy to walk to grab coffee or to the atm. Easy walk to Uvita waterfall to the river. The main noises I heard were construction down the road and happy animals playing with their people, otherwise it was very peaceful. The room was very clean and the fan was plenty to stay comfortable. The kitchen was accesible and had the basics handy. A great place to explore Uvita.

Even though it is a little far from the beach it has a convenient location, minutes away from restaurants, gyms and supermarkets. Clean place, the kitchen is spacious and convenient. Quiet place to rest and relax. There is no air conditioning but it has a fan and the house good natural ventilation. The price is very comfortable and the host is super friendly and pleasant! I recommend it

It's a great place, just what I was looking for

This place is not for everyone, but if you don’t mind simple accommodations, the surroundings are beautiful, host is fantastic and cooks delicious meals, and it’s extremely tranquil - if that’s what you’re looking for you’ll love Rustico Tortuguero.

An excellent place, pleasant, I recommend it.
