Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Limón Province

Rain ecolodge was extremely beautiful, I had a super relaxing stay and would go again 12 out of 10 stars

This place is a gem! The owner(s) clearly put a lot of love into the place and the landscaping. I absolutely loved the river access and enjoyed it every day - so many fun places to explore right from the Airbnb! I could easily spend an entire month here. I hope that I am able to stay again someday.

Manoas was by far the best place we stayed during our trip to Costa Rica! Not only were the tents huge, clean and comfortable but the staff went above and beyond to help us with everything Steve was great at communicating and gave us some recommendations for a local tour company before we arrived as well as directions to the property. The campsite is 10-15 mins drive from the Ballena national park and there are supermarkets on the main road before entering the road up to the campsite (you will need 4 x 4) Upon check in we were assisted with our laundry and I asked if there was somewhere to get hot water (for our baby) and they found us a kettle to use in our room. We were also placed in a private spot and near the restaurant which was thoughtful The tents were amazing! The bed was huge and the bathroom was lovely and clean! There was a mini fridge, plates and glasses so it was easy to eat lunch on the surrounding balcony The restaurant serves a 3 course meal for 20 dollars per person which is well worth it as the food is spectacular and you won’t get a more beautiful setting. Breakfast is huge and tasty and 10 dollars per person too. The campsite has a lovely pool, a walk to the river for swimming and a lagoon to visit. The cicada are amazing-we have never heard them so loud and using an app on our phone measured them to be around 70-80 decibels during the day! They quietened at night and the gentle noise helped our baby sleep as it acted like white noise. In the early hours of the morning we heard howler monkeys which was eerie but amazing I could say so much more about this amazing place but think it is best experienced. Definitely the place to stay in Uvita!

Jon's place was a dream. The apartment is beautiful, nestled in gardens in the jungle. The location is so scenic, with an incredible view of the ocean from the deck. There's a lovely yoga shala that we loved practicing in. The kitchen is well stocked, and we loved cooking every night. The bedroom, bathrooms and whole house is very clean. We felt right at home. Jon is a welcoming, kind and fantastic host. He let us use the yoga shala and deck as much as we wanted, and even gave us rides into town when he could. We felt very safe and comfortable, which was a big deal to my partner and I, as we are a queer couple. We already miss our new friend! The apartment is located about 45 minutes up a steep mountain road. I didn't read the listing carefully, so I thought it was a bit closer to the beaches of Dominicalito. Even with the blisters from all the walking, we had absolutely no regrets though! We just wished we'd rented a car. Learn from us 😂

Severine and her husband Mark were very friendly hosts. Our place on stilts was a dream come true and decorated with a lot of love. Delicious breakfast. Definitely recommend this place to our friends

What a truly amazing experience. We got waken up by howler monkeys every morning around 6am. It was our alarm clock. This place is in the national park, therefore you are surrounded by nature and its inhabitants and their sounds. You get to enjoy the beaches and a nice walk all to yourself, before other visitors start to make their way in early morning. It was a true immersive experience and we have really enjoyed it. One thing to bear in mind is that this is an ecolodge. You will not find luxury inside but you have the basics and it’s clean. I highly recommend it.

If you want to have a getaway with some of the best views imaginable, this is the place to be! Jon is an excellent host and his home is beautiful, spacious, but most of all, truly tranquil. This was an amazing stay and hope to be back very soon!!!

8 km drive on unpaved road. Nice, clean cottage, well-equipped kitchen. Great views and surrounded by greenery. Absolutely quiet. From the terrace we could watch many birds. 2 giant tokens greeted us in the morning.

San Agustín is beautiful, we love to know the place, the cabin is very cozy, with a few mist-filled sunrises perfect for coffee on the upstairs terrace overlooking the coffee.

Excellent place to rest and be in contact with nature, close to the easily accessible volcano, nice view, very quiet, excellent hosts and they also give you a lot of important information. Amazing breakfast, highly recommended

We flew into San Jose and stayed with Omar on our way to Puerto Viejo. We couldn’t believe we stumbled upon such a treasure! Omar makes you feel like an old friend the first time you meet him. We made a wrong turn and got a little lost and Omar drove out through the rain in the dark to meet us where we were so we could follow him back to his place. The next morning he gave us a tour of his beautiful garden and we saw more hummingbirds than we could count! He is so knowledgeable about Costa Rican wildlife and plants and we learned so much. He also made us the most delicious breakfast which we enjoyed by the beautiful river that runs through his property. Omar and his B&B are an absolute gem! Thank you Omar!

We had such a beautiful stay in Aire. The bungalow is perfectly designed to make you feel part of the surrounding jungle and has more than everything you need. The place is wonderful, it's very clean, the bed is really comfy, the outside space of the bungalow with the little pool is the perfect spot to chill at night and you are super close to a beautiful beach. Also the hosts are the nicest ! They will do anything to make your stay perfect, they gave us a lot of tips on what to do arround and we had a great time. I 100% recommend !!

Beautiful place, full of peace among nature, we really rest and would love to return. Alejo, his wife and Carolina were super friendly, he always helped us with everything and willing to have a good time. A super Host.

Chris was an excellent host, and the place was great.

This place was located nicely in some beautiful hills with a great view. A cozy cabin with comfy and clean beds. The neighbors kept us up with some loud music for a little while and there is a wood burning stove. The stove worked great, of course, and they stocked plenty of wood outside for it, but does require a little more effort than an electric or gas stove. Overall, really liked the place.

I really enjoyed staying with marleene , its a real jungle staying, sooo beautiful and special, we had great talks with the other guests, we made delicious organic food , its in a middle of forest and so quiet and cool thank u marleen

Giselle is a warm person who was attentive and considerate, always ready to help if necessary in the organization of activities, call you a water taxi that arrives in 5 minutes. A nice immersion in the forest. The bungalows are comfortable. Great typical breakfast.

Everything was fine and we wished he had brought more time the beautiful ranch. Milton is an unbelievable kind Person and rally helped us with everything.

The space was everything we expected: a comfortable and quiet place to sleep and rest surrounded by a lot of nature. All the details were wonderful, the blankets were delicious and the shower water was very good and warm. In addition, Óscar, the host, was always very kind and quick to communicate. I would definitely return to the place ♥️

Brett was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. He even offered to pick things up for us and drive us to the other side of town. This spot is super cozy and perfect for bird watching.
