Awesome place, very cozy and private! Very roomy and spacious would highly recommend to anyone that is looking to stay in the area!

We had a really nice time at the cabin. Everything was laid out very nicely and was ready for us the moment we arrived. The space is beautiful and right on the lake. It was extremely peaceful to sit in the large screened deck and hang out with the stunning lake in view. Hope to stay here again some day!

My family and I loved this air bnb! It was private, clean and had everything that we needed. Loved the fire pit and the hot tub, beds were comfy and towels were soft. Great communication with the owners. If you are looking for a nice get away with lots of privacy and to be able to relax this place is it! If we are ever in the area again would love to stay in this beautiful cabin in the woods.

Stayed here for a bachelorette party. The house was perfect for our group. Bev was so nice and helpful - anything we needed she helped us out! The location is also great if you’re wanting to do a bit of everything - wineries, downtown shopping and dining out, breweries, etc! The yard is amazing and it feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere when you’re outside on the deck. Highly recommend!

This place was exactly what we needed to get away for the weekend. Elise went above and beyond with her list of nearby recommendations and property details. We met her twice and she was so kind, and we were lucky to meet her sweet dog George and sweet barn cat Mosby. We cannot wait to come back!

Beautifully decorated and extremely clean! Had everything we could have possibly wanted and the location was perfect for visiting wineries and breweries! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area!

My boyfriend and I came out here looking for a place to disconnect and Heartrock was the perfect place! Greg gave us a great hiking recommendation to Fortune’s Cove and Kim was so helpful and responsive. The place was so nice and the scenery was lovely. Bilbo the cat was even more friendly than we imagined and we enjoyed hanging with him. We did prep our own breakfast and dinner before arriving just due to the smaller kitchen but it had everything we needed. We took a stroll around the property and it was lovely. The water pressure here is also great. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back.

Anna’s place was the perfect size and location for 2 adults and 3 kids. The triple bunk beds are fun and cute. The place was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. The kids loved all the board games and the 2 hot tubs right outside our door! It was also super easy and convenient to walk down to the Soaring Eagle lift and get right on the slopes. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay. Clean as a whistle. Very well appointed. There's a babbling brook next to it that you can enjoy from the back deck. Three forms of coffee available - most impressive. Everything was well labeled with instructions. It's a pet-friendly place, a nice surprise. It's just off a road, so be aware if you're sound sensitive. Communication was excellent from well before all the way through the visit. Beds were super comfy, with lots of lounging areas for friends or family. Clearly hosts that take their visitors comfort very seriously. A lot of thought and consideration put in to this truly lovely place.

Anthony's place was very clean and welcoming. felt secluded even though was close to everything. was well pleased with our stay. only drawback was we weren't able to control the temperature and the house was 76 degrees too hot for June. Anthony did turn it down some but was still too hot for us . plenty of wildlife if that's your thing, the deer come close enough to almost pet them . I will definitely stay here again it's perfect for just 2 people

Words cannot describe the feeling of pure calm that comes over you when you arrive. This place is truly a treasure hidden in the woods. Once you cross the creek you leave the world and all your cares behind. The host pays attention to all the little details and it shows. We have stayed at quite a few places but this one is on our return list. We look forward to sliding up for a long weekend in the late fall or early winter. (Tip- be sure to spend 15 min reading the welcome package it is time well spent).

This was my wife and I's first time away without kids in 20 years. It was the most relaxing stay we could have imagined. It's a 7 hour drive from our home, we stumbled upon it while visiting friends in TN, and we needed a place to spend a night on our way home, my wife said she would travel 7 hours back to spend a long weekend. It was worth every penny to us. It is a slice of heaven on earth. If you enjoy listening to nature this is the place, we fell asleep hearing the wind gently blow through the trees, awoke to the birds, and had a mix of rain drops overnight. We have traveled as full time RVers for 10 years, and have lived all over the US, we considered buying a 40ft catamaran, and sailing the high seas, however after one night, we know a yurt is something we will own and live in as our children move out and it's just the 2 of us. We loved the large deck with incredible views! There is another property very close to this one so wasn’t as secluded as we had hoped but overall we loved our stay here. Go check out Eagle Zen Winery if you have the chance.

Beautiful and peaceful. Enjoyed the lush green surroundings and watching the bunnies and deer. Felt secluded but was well marked so we had no problems finding it. The place had everything we needed for a short stay.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The quality of bedding, linens and furnishings stood out compared to other rentals. The property and the unit are more spacious and charming than the pictures show. The local coffee and pastries were a delicious and unexpected treat. We loved hearing the train. The only thing to be aware of is that the thermostat is located in the owner's home (adjacent) and communication with the owner is required to make adjustments. However, with that said, Susan was accommodating and responsive during our stay and we would highly recommend.

Great place!! We really enjoyed our stay. Mary provided everything we needed...even extras. We brought some steak to grill and Mary provided a charcoal grill with charcoal so we could cook out. Sh also provided some great local hiking options. We'll definitely be back when in Charlottesville!! Thank you Mary!!

Brad’s place is beautiful! Comfortable bed! There was available coffee, super plus. Phone chargers on both sides of the bed. Just perfect. Just wished we could have stayed longer.

Joe and I are so grateful to have experienced this peaceful area. We plan to come back more than once. We can not wait to return ! We can not thank the ambassador enough for such a peaceful romantic place. See you soon!

beautiful mountain top and away from the hustle and bustle. The place was very clean and peaceful, but the oven temp was a little off other then taht the place was perfect.

Over the years I've stayed at quite a few Air BnB places, including internationally, and I can fairly say that Cindy and Bill's Air BnB is my favorite so far! Cindy and Bill are amazing hosts and people and their Air BnB reflects that. The attention to detail shows they not only know what creature comforts travelers need (good quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and spare toiletries you may have forgotten), but also which little luxuries make an Air BnB feel truly like home (French coffee press, Brita water pitcher, and farm fresh eggs in the kitchen). And if that isn't enough, there's the alpacas and the guardian dogs, Journey and Jilly. Cindy and Bill put a lot of love and time into their animals and it shows. They love to introduce you to them, so definitely take advantage of that! If you want a peaceful surrounding that's within an easy drive to two colleges and the town of Farmville, this is the place. When we are back this way, we're definitely staying here again!!

We had a wonderful long weekend here, enjoying all the beauty of Smith Mountain Lake. We rented a boat, played mini-golf, walked along the lake, and ate great food. This condo is the perfect location to relax and play.

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!" 

We loved our stay at this condo in Wintergreen. The condo was beautifully furnished. Very clean. And the views from the balcony are unbelievable. Since it was spring, it was very quiet which we enjoyed. The mountains were so lush and green. The host responded to any questions within minutes. Check out was a breeze. We will be booking again!

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. The farm tour with Madi was excellent, truly a must do! The yurt was cozy with a short walk to the pool and hot tub. It felt like a private retreat. We had some big rain storms while there, but inside was dry and comforting. Will absolutley be back!
