IL PAGLIAIO away from it all and just for two

Live an authentic experience in an unspoiled rural place! Il Pagliaio is an old barn hidden in a peaceful secular olive grove overlooking Mount Maiella. Set high on a hill it is away from it all but it is only 3km from Tocco da Casauria village, 5km from the highway, 45km from the main local town Pescara. Relax under the shade of a hundred olive trees or head off to discover the surroundings. The inside is an open space in a simple and basic style, reflecting the rural spirit of the place.

A cottage made up of stone and timber built on two storeys, with a large living room, glass window, a couch for two people and a bathroom with sauna; on the second storey there is a double bedroom. Outdoors, there is a large garden with a porch equipped with BBQ and a wooden table. The site is located on the pleasant hills between Bellegra and Olevano Romano. We have currently added two beds, set up in a wonderful Indian teepe available for two extra guests in addition to the four ones.

Tiny House at Rocca di Sotto

This cabin offers a lot of privacy with a view of the high mountains of Gran Sasso and the Majella. The log cabin is next to the forrest and below a huge oak tree. It's on a small small bio campsite with 10 are of land off Rocca di Sotto. It has the measures of 5 by 2.5 meters. Gas, water and electricity are available and there is a basic kitchenette with fridge, a double bed, bed linen and towels. There is a little heater.

The House with the Mezzanine

The house with the mezzanine is a little nest decorated with love and care provided with anything that you may need for a nice stay in Rome. It is located in Villa Certosa, a friendly neighborhood (almost a small town) in Rome, 15 mins by tram from Termini Station and 15 mins on foot from the popular Pigneto. If you don't feel like going up the small stairs on the mezzanine you will find all you need on the ground floor.

Main house with independent outbuilding in the garden, accessible via a private entrance. Just renovated; new and modern furniture. Luminous and quiet, allowing to experience the beautiful garden of your home when the weather is nice, shared with our two dogs. Guests have their own access and their own keys so that they can be completely independent during their stay.

In the heart of Rome's coolest neighborhood, this small independent house is perfect for young guests. It comes with WiFi and air conditioning and is located in a quiet area near restaurants and bars. Well-connected to public transport. Handmade decorations by hosts (mother and daughter). Check-in 3-8 PM. Late check-in fee: €30 after 8 PM, €50 after 11 PM.
