Really charming villa, immersed in the greenery of a hill above Gaeta, with breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. An ideal place for those looking for silence and peace of nature just 7 minutes from the village and beautiful beaches. The last stretch of road is quite challenging and requires a safe and loose guide but, once you arrive, everything invites you to stay: the warm and personal decor, the large bright doors and windows (equipped with providential mosquito nets) and the terrace overlooking the view, as well as the beautiful garden. The house does not have wifi and mobile coverage is limited to some areas. From the kitchen, a rather steep staircase is used to climb to the upper floor (which can be circumvented from the outside). Very warm welcome from a friend of the owner, who provided us with total availability, valuable advice and support during the stay, as well as a welcome gift. We had a great time, thank you Iole and Robertangelo!

The accommodation is really nice, clean and cared for in every detail. Roberta was clear and kind on every occasion, really unbeatable. Highly recommended!

For us as a family of 4 with not very young children, it was optimal. The balcony offered meals with a super view, and also the pool was perfect for cooling off.

The house and the entire complex were beautiful. The furnishings were of very high quality, the beds were excellent. Since we unfortunately had a lot of bad luck with the weather, we/our children were very happy about the hot tub. Especially suitable for guests with dogs. The contact with Daniela was great and her father was also very helpful and very likeable. Thanks for everything

The perfect getaway with magnifico views. Great hosts, super good food, open to help and organize what you need. Very nice jacuzzi with hot / cold water like a bath-tub. The only small problem are forficula bugs and spiders but if you want natural surroundings than that is the costs. All in all I highly recommend this place for a couple escape. We got lucky and the horses where there to see us when we woke up.

Gianluca was a very caring host. Accessibility and communication easy, straightforward and fast - in very good English. The place is great for anyone looking for peace and privacy. The house has everything it needs for a nice vacation including a large pool, sauna and hot tub. Gianluca recommended very good restaurants and excursion destinations. Above all, many insider tips, i.e. no tourist hotspots but local ones where locals eat. We will be happy to come back 😊 Thanks, Gianluca 👍

The "il Cottage" accommodation is a lovely two bedroom apartment that is right next to the fortress (which makes it even more evocative). Francesca and Aliek welcomed us with kindness and professionalism, making us feel like we are in our home. Their whole family was very nice and helpful, including dogs, cats, and donkeys who were an unexpected and very enjoyable company for us. The fortress is located in a very quiet area but at the same time close to the main tourist attractions of Umbria easily reachable by car, at most in a couple of hours. Absolutely recommended for both couples and families, or simply for people who love tranquility and beauty .

My husband and I stayed two nights in the Chestnut Dryer of the Podere di Maggio. What can I say? A real paradise: nestled in a wonderful valley with Mount Amiata in front of it and the beautiful medieval village of Santa Fiora. We could not ask for more: wonderful structure, well cared for, in detail, priceless peace. The hosts were great, hospitable, and really made us feel at home. In short, everything is perfect, nothing is missing, of course you have to love bucolic life like us ! The only downside? Two nights were too short and we'll definitely be back . The apartment is in a beautiful and peaceful location, and is easy to find. It’s spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, and the view from the terrace over the lake is just stunning. Antonella and Dario are exceptional hosts, responding to messages and fixing any problems almost instantly. They definitely went above and beyond to make our stay really comfortable.

It was a wonderful house, plenty of peace, babbling brook and a wonderful garden with sun loungers and a parasol. The terrace for dinner in the evening was also perfect. Everything you need for a good stay was in the house. There was a nice restaurant 2.5 kilometers away with super friendly service. We were able to let ourselves in, but Efisio still came by to meet us.

The Crooked Cottage, situated by the peaceful village of Vicoli, is a perfect spot to come and relax, enjoying great scenery and the quiet countryside of Abruzzo. Maurizio and Francesca are excellent hosts, and the house reflects the care they take in making guests feel welcome and comfortable. We would heartily recommend it to anyone!

It's a really great real Italian house. Very cozy, we felt at home right away. Very complete. Two nice large bedrooms with ceiling fan, one bedroom in the attic that was a little smaller, mattress on the floor and air conditioner (which didn't work so well). It was a very hot week (up to 40 degrees). We kept everything close during the day, but it stayed very hot in the bedrooms. A few more air conditioners would be very nice. But...it worked, we slept well on the good mattresses. Around the house lovely places. Even more beautiful than in the photos. We moved with the sun from spot to spot. The pool is fantastic (and really needed with that heat). The house is quite secluded on a very small road. We are quite a bit lost. That was also because there is not always internet connection on the way. Finally, a lot of praise for the fantastic Adriano who was always available and always checked to make sure everything was good. Thank you Elvira and Adriano!!

It was a real pleasure staying in Francesco's house. Super clean, all kinds of accessories. Plenty of dishes. Thoughtful of decor in the smallest of details. Wonderful also the paddy and garden, in addition to recommending it, I'm sure we'll be back soon

We had a wonderful weekend in this apartment. The tranquility and privacy of the place are priceless, both inside and in the outdoor spaces you can feel total serenity. The apartment was impeccably clean and we especially appreciated the bed, incredibly comfortable! Traveling with our son of almost 3 years old, finding an environment where you can really relax is not obvious, and we were able to do it fully here. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a haven of peace and comfort.

We had the most amazing time at Luigis place. He was a great host with excellent recommendations. The house is gorgeous and has everything you would need and more. The pool is huge with a great view. The local restaurant has amazing food and is great value. Luigi is an amazing host. He is very responsive and gave us a captivating history lesson on the area. We highly recommend his homegrown olive oil. It is the best we have ever tasted!

Everything was magnificent, for the two of us and our two dogs, it was like living a dream. Clean and comfortable environment, with all the necessary equipment. We didn't use the sauna, but there's that one too. And what about the garden? Spacious, comfortable, high fence, with barbecue, outdoor table and chairs, drinking fountains, deck chairs. In addition there is also another garden, always fenced, which can be accessed via a gate inside the property, with fruit trees (apples, pears, cherries, figs, walnuts, apricots). Magnificent view of the entire Gran Sasso. Hosts have always been helpful, kind, and proactive, with the utmost discretion. We hope to be back soon.

The apartment of Livio and Vittoria is very tastefully and elegantly furnished, spacious and well equipped. The small kitchen is cozy and makes it possible to prepare full food. The surroundings are wonderful and invite you to beautiful excursions. The pool is pleasant and offers wonderful relaxation. We enjoyed it as a family with a dog.

A lovely quiet rustic cottage in a converted barn. Just as described. Hosts very kind and helpful. No phone signal in area so need to ensure location is understood & made clear. Really needs your own car to explore area as no other transportation. A very peaceful beautiful location

This was the loveliest Airbnb stay I've ever had. I spent five days in July. For Americans who may deterred by the lack of air conditioning, I will offer that this was during an intense heatwave, but I slept very comfortably due to the cool bedrooms set back into the hillside. Grocery was convenient and the kitchen had absolutely everything I needed to use local ingredients for dinner Al fresco every night. The property included much private outdoor space, the view of orvieto and the vineyards, access to a large pool, and even a very friendly and delightful little donkey. Would give six stars if I could!
