Bedroom in a Barn was even better then it sounded in the description. Other than having no windows throughout, the ample lighting fixtures made up for it, especially in the bathroom. As described, there were ample toiletries available and the bed was very comfy cozy and felt supportive on my weakened lower back. Come morning, the sweet, docile horses seemed to look forward to seeing us and receiving their morning treat! Come sundown, the fire flies put on a real show out in the pasture and across the road in the deep woods. We are avid walkers, and the only downside to the surrounding neighborhood, were the two loose dogs on either side of the property. We never saw them roam anywhere near the white fenced property, but we felt limited to how far on the road we felt safe to walk. We enjoyed an amazing experience living for 4 nights in the “Bedroom in a Barn”! Thank you, Robin and Gary, for making this such a unique, comfortable temporary home for your visitors! Wonderful historic house in a wonderful historic district! Everything about this house, the location, and the host is way above average! It deserves six stars, but five is the most allowed! The house has wonderful charm and historic appeal, and I loved the large living spaces plus little nooks to sit and read in. Air conditioning worked well, which is a big plus for historic houses. The back yard is also a great place to sit in the shade and enjoy the settings.

What a cute country cabin! It has ALL the old charm of gramma’s house, all the way down to the perfectly seasoned cast iron skillet! The fireflies were so cool putting stars in the beautiful pasture. A few things to note…the highway is really close. It is busy and loud so if you are a light sleeper, the traffic only lightens up a little bit. Also, this home really is an older house so it comes with all the country has to offer which includes bugs and spiders. Vonda’s place is clean and neat but it’s the country ya’ll and there are a few bugs. I named the spider Olivia. ❤️

Great stay! We loved the location and the house. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic! Great spot for our family
