Lovely cottage in a peaceful area. It was beautifully decorated/ furnished and super cozy. A perfect little spot for a couple to get-away. I would love to see this cottage decorated at Christmas time! We plan to visit Whitehouse more in the future, and this place will be our go to stay if available.

Beautiful view, lovely homey cottage feel. Very comfortable bed! Host thoughtfully kept coffee and cocoa in the kitchen, very comfortable couch, comfortable porch chairs, everything was relaxing. Loved the sound of the frogs in the evening.

This was our second time to stay in The Shack. We love the quaint little cabin. The screened in porch is amazing and having access to the pond just a short distance from the porch just a adds to the wonderful experience. Steve is a great host and we look forward to staying here again. - The Browns

Very nice place to chill and enjoy the peacefulness by the water. Charlene was super responsive to any questions and super quick with her reply. Place was immaculate in cleanliness as well as the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit as well as sitting out watching the boats go by out of the big lake.
