We stayed here while coming into town for a wedding at Soli Tree Farms. Matthew was a great host and very responsive. The home was very cozy and charming. I had read that the train was close by, causing some problems for previous guests. The house is right next to the tracks ( about 50 feet or so)- It only passed twice in the night so for most people it won’t be a huge problem. However, we had a baby and it created a slightly larger problem getting everyone back to sleep after each passing. This won’t be a problem for everyone- just something to consider if you have small children. All around, a great alternative to a local hotel- we enjoyed our time greatly!

Loved everything about it. House felt like home. Everything you could ask for in the house that you would ever need and more. loved the peacefulness and seclusion. Julie was right on top of everything she answered every question. she was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the place. Jessica’s property is just beautiful. Well-tended flower garden, lovely area around the pool with lots of comfy seating. Views from the carriage house are very nice. Horses could be seen grazing. I didn’t have a chance to do lots of walking on the property but what I saw was bucolic and so pretty. Graceful hills and beautiful trees, a large, peaceful property. So relaxing. I also enjoyed many spots in town including the Hopewell Museum, Lil cafe, Trackside and happy people coffee house. So many lovely old houses with gardens. Highly recommend! And Jessica is great for local recommendations. Cinnamon rolls at Lil’s and hot brown at Trackside were phenomenal!
