HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I travel a lot for mahi and I stayed there as property was very close to my conference venue. Well equipped, very clean, comfortable bed. The laundry is a bonus! First ever Air Bnb that has supplied enough loo paper & towels! Host popped in 2nd night with locally made chocolates. She’s so lovely and thoughtful. A couple of real simple ideas to make stay for guests even better would be: Must seal the bifold doors ASAP as was very draughty and cold. Will be worst in winter. May help with road traffic noise a bit as well as not double glazed. I needed to text host for instructions on how to work electronic curtains hehehe. Luggage racks would be handy for suitcases. Needs an “opening” to metal pathway edging as had to lift luggage up and over the pathway edging. Security light didn’t always come on. Was looking forward to a swim in pool but was not clean. Take gumboots as grass in parking area, not metal. My work shoes would have got soaked. BEAUTIFUL!

We arrived later than expected, but Katherine had the house warm and welcoming for us when we got there. We felt right at home – cosy, comfortable, and well looked after. Everything was easy to find and use, with clear instructions for the spa, kitchen gear, and even a great range of board games to choose from. The Pheasants Nest is modern and beautifully styled, with amazing views both inside and out. The deck looks out over peaceful farmland and the river – the spa was the cherry on top and made our stay even more relaxing. It’s private, quiet, and just what we needed to unwind. Overall, gorgeous! Katherine was a lovely host, she left us fresh eggs, croissants, yoghurt, granola, chocolates and milk, plus a great selection of coffee. We really felt spoilt. It was a relaxing stay that was absolutely worth it, and we’re already keen to come back again!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! If you are looking for a nice relaxing getaway this is your place! We will definitely be back, was also very nice to have our dog with us :)

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was clean, warm, peaceful and beautiful. We really appreciated the lovely small gestures such as the breakfast items, especially catering to my vegan food preferences. Tabitha the cat was definitely the highlight providing us with lots of cuddles and making herself right at home Would definitely recommend, everything about our stay was perfect.
