The vision for this home came about after we traveled in Europe and fell in love with the calming, slow-paced lifestyle of villages along the coast, mixed with rich architecture focused on natural elements & a soothing palettes. We designed and renovated this beach cottage to exude inspiration from those experiences and create an escape for ourselves and to share with others. We look forward to hosting you!

This listing is for 4 guests, perfect for a family, friends, or couples. A small cottage with a long-term rental is on the same property, there is shared parking, but no living spaces shared.

The space has a private key-less entry, outdoor dining & living, outdoor shower & comfortable clean living. Our place is good for couples, small families with infants/toddlers, solo guests & business travelers.

Nothing fancy, but a quaint spot for a those who want to be by the sea. Octopus's garden: The octopus is a mysterious, elusive sea creature that decorates and tends the entrance garden to its hide-a -way home with a collection of shiny and found objects. Originally constructed in 1958, this single story Block House sits on a large double corner lot in the Heart of Kill Devil Hills. Close to the Beach, shopping , and Attractions, Our Vintage Flatroof is Modernized while trying to keep its nostalgic feel that made so many fall in love with the Outer Banks!! (Note: Minimum 7 day, Saturday to Saturday stays only from June til Labor Day.)
