Monthly Rentals in Kelford

I had a wonderful stay at this charming historic cottage in Halifax. The place was exactly as described — spotlessly clean, full of character, and nestled in a lovely small town. I really appreciated how responsive and helpful the Glenn was throughout my stay. There’s a great local restaurant and historic district just a short walk away, making it easy to do some exploring on foot. The cottage itself had a warm, welcoming feel and made for a peaceful retreat. I’d absolutely stay here again!

Great location, wanted something that felt like home for our daughter and dogs while we traveled NC hiking/trail walking for the weekend. We came in late and after settling everyone in we were able to watch TV and play some provided board games. Next morning full kitchen let us make an at home meal had everything we needed. Wife wished we could have stayed another night. Would definitely recommend!

Location was close to where I needed, very spacious and peaceful. Mr. Richardson responded promptly to my concerns which shows he is attentive to the needs of guests.

The surroundings were peaceful and quiet. We felt as if we had the world to ourselves. We used the lodge as a "Basecamp" for 3 days of fishing on the Roanoke River. There are 2 NC Wildlife boat ramps just minutes away. We met our host at check-in and she gave us a wonderful tour and brief history of the lodge. She made us feel very welcome and shared local information including restaurants and food stores. We enjoyed a quiet walk each morning surrounded by the sound of turkeys, geese, and cardinals. If you want to get away from the noise, this is the place! We're already making plans to return next year.
