Cottage holiday rentals in Jacksonville

Everything about this cottage was perfect! The location had a little trail right across the street to the beach. My mom and I stayed there for Mother’s Day week and LOVED everything about it. The hot tub was perfect! And the jasmine smell so good. Tamara was amazing with recommendations and communication!

I'd recommend this place. The golf cart is a game changer getting to and from the beach. Lynne has everything you need for the beach! House is spotless, private setting. You can't go wrong here!

Perfect size and space for me and my 2 adult daughters for a girls trip. We had just what we needed. The city of St. Augustine is a wonderful place to eat and tour around. The Shire was a perfect way to rest and unwind. I watched the owners bring the Shire back to life. Such a cool little place. ❤️

Had a nice stay and grandkids loved the pool. Games to be play. Also great for large families with the multiple cottages on the property. Definitely recommend this place. Would definitely stay again. Andrew & Melody are great hosts theyresponded quick if we had any issues.

The place was super cute and close to the beach, as well as restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Cindi was extremely thorough with her check-in and check-out directions, making everything very simple. The home was great and quiet. Cindi's place has more condiments and kitchen tools and utensils than any other place I've been to. It was truly a delight all around!

Great little spot for a couple. Quite a few local restaurants and shops within a 5 min walk. The mission is just across the street. 15 min walk to the fort & a just little further to get into the downtown area. We only used our vehicle to drive to the Anastasia and Vilano areas. Would stay here again.

This was such a cute space! Deborah made the most out of a studio area and I was amazed how much was available at the house. It was a short stay for me so I didn't get to enjoy the patio, but the house was very clean and organized. Bottled water/snacks were a nice surprise too.

Loved the location close to the beach. The home was clean and everything as described! Very nice perk was all the beach gear - chairs, umbrella, beach towels, and wagon. One thing I didn’t know was there is no bathtub - both bathrooms have showers only - but one of them has a pull down handle shower head and is a pretty large shower stall. Both bathrooms had plenty of towels and good quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I would stay here again!

Greetings from Ohio, My family went down to St. Augustine for our first family vacation. I am from St. Augustine but my husband and son have never been out of Ohio. It was a treat for everyone. The place we stayed at was located near downtown and easy access to all areas. It was nice and quiet and clean. Will definitely try and stay there again at another time.

Such a perfect little hideaway. I forgot I was in Florida! This cottage gives cabin vibes with the beautiful woodwork throughout, but it’s right across the street from the beach. The best of both worlds! I absolutely loved the greenery and landscaping surrounding the cottage! There’s a fountain outside the porch where you can hear the soothing sound of water. The birdbath attracts cardinals, chickadees and titmice (which I’ve never seen in Florida, as I am from southern part of the state) I was in awe! The view of castle otttis is spectacular from the deck off the bedroom. This place was with every penny and we’ll definitely be back!!

The house was perfect for a couple. It is cozy and well equipped for a stay! We loved the location. There’s fantastic vintage store just around the corner, and Avondale is very close! We will definitely stay here again.

Less than 10 minutes away from every thing. House was cozy and all amenities were described. The wrap around porch was a great substitute for the balcony.

This is the 4th year we've stayed with Peter. All of his rentals are beautiful and centrally located to Vilano Beach (steps away) and to downtown St. Augustine. Peter is so quick to respond and helpful with any needs you may have. This year we brought friends and they raved about how excellent the space was as well. My husband's favorite detail is the bread and fruit provided as a welcome gift. We've been coming to vacation in St. Augustine for years and we wouldn't stay anywhere else!

it would be hard to find a better place to stay in St. Augustine. walkable to everything!! the car could stay in the driveway the entire time. perfect for two couples. the set up allows a bit of privacy as the bedrooms are on separate floors. kitchen was great and the provided snacks and such were just perfect. Great hosts! will stay here again.

This was our second time staying here & it was just as nice as the first time. The house is so cute & very clean! So many special touches-snacks & coffee laid out, welcome chocolates, fresh flowers! The view from the porch is beautiful & serene. No worries about parking-you are within walking distance to the old town, attractions & restaurants. Stephanie is friendly & helpful with anything you may need during your stay. This is the place to stay in St. Augustine! Thanks again-we’ll be back!

Carrie was a very flexible and accommodating host, letting us stay an extra night because we loved it so much! The house was great, comfy, and relaxing, and very clean, but the best part for us was the pier and the dock. We spent a lot of time out there catching fish during high tide, and during low tide, we got lots of great shots of the local birds. At night, we also saw raccoons and foxes down by the dock. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was when we were at the house, but we were only 10 minutes away from downtown, where there was plenty of shopping and great restaurants! For the fisherman, if you want to fish, please check out Captain Danny Flynn. What a great captain, especially for Tarpon! Loved, loved, loved your home Carrie!! This was a perfect place. So convenient to walk everywhere!!! The only time we drove was to go to the beach. It was off the main road so you don’t hear traffic but walkable to everywhere in town! Valerie was very friendly and left a list for great places to eat and visit! Check in and out was easy with no issues. I would definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family. Thank you!
