Staying at this charming little cottage near the Finger Lakes was an absolute delight. The moment we arrived, I felt as if I’d been transported to Scandinavia, surrounded by serene natural beauty and peaceful views. The quiet sounds of nature made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Alicia was incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating, making sure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Without a doubt, this is a 10 out of 10 experience, and we can’t wait to return for a longer visit to explore more of the property and the surrounding town! Thank you again!

My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant stay at Brandon's house for seven nights. It was an excellent choice for a home base while we explored the Finger Lakes area, There isn't much else I can say about the home which hasn't already been said, it is as advertised and as reviewed by all of the others. Comfortable bed, warm shower (with good pressure), kitchen well stocked with utensils and very spacious (especially with the high ceilings). The neighborhood was very quiet (almost desolate to an extent). Brandon is well versed in being a great host, he has all the bases covered. Highly recommended. A+

Jagadish's house is amazing. We stayed here for my daughter's graduation and love it. It is spacious and very clean. The gardens are stunning.

Well equipped and roomy kitchen with nice view of the backyard garden and forest. Nice spot for early morning birding! We loved the large sitting room and chairs on the front porch. Quiet and private! Kim was super helpful. Loved pur stay!

So I'll start by giving a glowing review! This was our first Airbnb experience and I feel like Sarah set the bar very high. We had a wonderful stay. We were blown away at how beautiful, pristine and nicely decorated her "Loft" was. It was fully stocked beyond our expectations. there was plenty of things for us to use if we needed them. Her deck outside was just gorgeous with a beautiful view, comfortable chairs and a gas fireplace. Sarah was very attentive and got back to me immediately when I had questions. You could literally forget your toiletries and you wouldn't have to worry because Sarah had them there for you. We were less than 10 minutes away from the heart of Watkins Glen. Easy drive into town. My husband was very impressed with the parking pad that we had right at the base of the stairs to get into the loft. The description of The loft on the Airbnb website was accurate. we loved our first Airbnb experience. we will definitely be back to Sarah's place.

We have stayed at Lorene's place several times and have always been grateful to be here. Lorene is so accommodating and welcoming. The place is in a beautiful location, the physical house is well appointed with the things in the kitchen and bathroom providing what we need, and it is convenient to hiking and other activities.

This place is truly unique. It's a get away space for musicians who share it when they aren't using it. The place has been built up and settled in. It's gorgeous, the location and the barn architecture. But it's not uptight. It feels like late 60s - early 70s rock and roll, or like classic country music. Maddy's family has a phenomenal record collection and the stereo sounds SO good. The albums we brought came to life there. There's also an excellent book collection, lots of rock and music stuff but also philosophy, literature, eco books, and classic kids book (lots of kids books and a massive toy trunk with toys for kids of all ages!). The kitchen has got pretty much everything you need, and all the basic amenities and appliances. Around about are lots of area lamps, interesting hangings, colored glass, rugs, throws, and well cared for house plants. Finally, the pond and field have not been chemical killed. So, there are lots of birds, frogs, fish, and nests.

Beautiful home with a friendly, responsive host. Nicholas thought of everything we might possibly need during our stay and provided it. The tremendous number of cabinets in the kitchen allowed for food/snack storage, so the house could remain neat and free of clutter. The kitchen really does have everything you need - even a roasting pan for veggies and a whisk for scrambled eggs. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean Nicholas’ home was and our bucket of cleaning supplies that we brought remained untouched (neat-freak here). Wegmans is a five minute drive and it is easy to walk to the Ithaca Commons, making it the perfect location for Cornell's graduation weekend. We scattered our wake up times and had no trouble with the single bathroom, but I did ask my mom and mother-in-law to bring a travel vanity mirror to allow them to apply makeup in their bedroom. Great house, amazing host, perfect location. Nicholas made our first Airbnb experience a fantastic one!

Absolutely breathtaking surroundings and view, quiet, peaceful, and everything described plus more! I'm ocd and usually leave anywhere I stay cleaner than I found it but I couldn't find anything that I could clean. It was spotless!!! We didn't want to leave. The hosts were amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I've been on numerous airbnb trips and this was the most beautiful. Can't wait to come back! Thank you so much!

Thank you Adam and Kelly! We had a wonderful stay for our 30th reunion at Cornell, and your house was perfect for our group of four. The surroundings were gorgeous and the beds are very comfortable. The fridge was amazingly well-stocked, including farm-fresh eggs, and the kitchen well-equipped for those who want to self-cater. The deck was the perfect spot for morning coffee—nothing quite beats hearing bird song as a way of starting your day. We all loved it and highly recommend this tranquil treasure!

So many positives about our stay, including location (super close and convenient walk to Ithaca Commons although very steep at parts which could be tough for some), very spacious home well appointed with fluffy towels, updated kitchen, super soft comfortable linens, ceiling fans, cozy fireplace to warm us during our cold and rainy visit, and music playing and complimentary wine upon arrival. A few negatives we experienced were ants which I later learned are common in Ithaca due to all the rain. The owner was very responsive to my message and came the following day while we were out to spray. They also left us two extra bottles of wine which was very kind and thoughtful. I didn’t see an ant for the remainder of our trip. The 2nd issue was the shower in main bathroom. Really tough for my 78 yr old mom to get in and out of so I think guests should know it’s about a two foot (?) “wall” to get into tub. I did not realize this from the pictures. Overall, very pleased and happy.

Carolyn’s home is a great oasis in a beautiful and centrally located part of the Fingerlakes. It is very close to Ithaca as well as the areas wineries in the other direction. In this specific location, you have very easy access to activities and many excellent dining options, while being able to enjoy serene vistas and having your own private access to the water right from her home on the water. We have stayed in other areas of the Fingerlakes and feel Carolyn’s location really is our favourite. The home is well stocked inside out w everything you need from kitchen, to grill, to outdoor equipment for kayaking etc. Carolyn rented her place before Airbnb so the booking process and instructions have some extra paperwork/agreements than is usual for this community here, but it is well worth it. Carolyn is a great host who was always helpful and responsive, anticipating all needs and issues, eventual and even just potential. Many thanks for hosting us, Carolyn!

Hello The description listed was perfect and exact. The interior decor is warm and homey. Perfect getaway. Kitchen had everything (we cooked a lot). All utensils/cupboards are super clean and organized. Grill and all garden furniture were impeccable.

My family stayed here for graduation weekend 2025 and had a lovely stay! The entire family was comfortable and the place was clean. Just what was needed for a few days close to Cornell. The only thing missing in the kitchen is a dishwasher, but aside from that the barn has great amenities. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and linens as well. The biggest complaint from the family was regarding the check out instructions. We were instructed to strip the sheets, clean the dishes and take all the garbage and recycling out to the outside bins. Considering the price for the stay, this should be included in the cleaning fee.

Megan's place was a great spot for our conference in Cortland. We had enough space for the 3 of us. The condo was comfortable, hot water for showers was plentiful, and we had all we needed for a pleasant stay. Megan responded quickly when messaged with a question. If you are going in after dark please note that there is not a lot of street lighting in the community (certainly NOT a reflection on our host).

Comfortable, extremely clean and very convenient location. Wonderful accommodations for my family especially the well stocked modern, spacious kitchen.

If you're going to Elmira this is the single best place to stay. I think Elmira has a lot of potential, the only negative is it's just starting to go down the road of reaching that potential. This Airbnb and the businesses associated with Rye around it are the people taking those first steps. Stay here, it is incredible. Help these people keep doing what they're doing.

A quiet rural setting only about 13 minutes from Cornell. A very good value for the money. I would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely stunning. It was a perfect way to ring in the new year. Amy was very responsive, and the house was perfect. We hope to return one day.

The apartment was adorable and well decorated. It seems as if they had thought of everything! Shalisa was also extremely responsive and friendly. 10/10 would recommend her place.

Our family came in for a concert, and this location was perfect. Beautiful condo, with a perfect location on the lake. With access to the pool, hot tub, life sized chess board, gym and the lakeside trail, we were within steps of a brewery, salon, restaurants, playground and an ice cream shop. Within walking distance of CMAC -- which we saw many people do. No need to bring your own towels, the condo has 4 for your use. The owners were quick to respond when we weren't able to get the door open (trick: turn the lock all the way to the right and lift the door handle up as you open) and super kind/prompt if I had other questions. We'll def be back. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful place!
