Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Ithaca

I booked very last minute to visit my son at Binghamton. My dog-sitter backed out last minute so we needed to find a place that takes animals. I was so pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The apartment exceeded my expectations. The apartment was immaculate- you would never know that they allow pets. It was very updated and had everything you could need for a long weekend. The immediate surrounding area is a little dark at night, but the gated entry and five key access to the building made us feel secure. It’s less than 10 minutes away from everything… Binghamton University, Wegmans, Walmart, Downtown Binghamton, Dick’s Sporting Goods you name it it’s very close by. I will definitely stay here again. Well worth the money!!!

We stayed at the loft for our son’s graduation from Binghamton and it was the perfect location. More than enough room for 4 of us and to allow for hanging out with our son during downtime. Walkable to all of the restaurants we had booked and easy drive to the campus. Loft was spotless and comfortable. Great overall experience!

Dennis had everything that we could need in this Airbnb and was the perfect place for our weekend away. The area was very walkable and easy to get around and was a great location to visit some wineries. Overall had a great stay!

Praveen's place was exactly as stated and very clean upon arrival. Communication was excellent and both check-in and checkout were super easy. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was extremely convenient. I would definitely stay at this listing again the next time we are in town.

The place was phenomenal. The two staircases going up is a bit tight. The whole apartment was very clean, spacious, and artsy. We had everything we needed and more! The bathroom ceiling on the first floor was leaking from the vent, so we messaged the host and they responded in a timely manner. We stopped using that bathroom and used the other two bathrooms, which was no problem at all. You can hear what is going on downstairs and sometimes down in the streets, so if you have problems with noise while you’re sleeping, then bring earplugs. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would stay here again for sure!

The property we had booked was checked before our arrival and we were contacted to move locations due to a water issue. The property we were moved to “The Purple house on Decatur Street” was amazing! Fantastic location, very clean especially for its size. We were in a nice neighborhood walking distance from everything we needed! We would definitely stay again! William was very responsive and friendly!

Jen was an awesome host, gave us local recommendations for activities and was quick to get the space ready! Extremely kind

We enjoyed our stay with clean accommodations and well stocked. The only thing I would consider adding is a washer and dryer for convenience.

Wonderful stay. It faces the inlet and you can see across to the plazas instead of the full lake, but it's still very pretty. A great unit, great area, great instructions and responsiveness.

We had a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely stunning. It was a perfect way to ring in the new year. Amy was very responsive, and the house was perfect. We hope to return one day.

Our family came in for a concert, and this location was perfect. Beautiful condo, with a perfect location on the lake. With access to the pool, hot tub, life sized chess board, gym and the lakeside trail, we were within steps of a brewery, salon, restaurants, playground and an ice cream shop. Within walking distance of CMAC -- which we saw many people do. No need to bring your own towels, the condo has 4 for your use. The owners were quick to respond when we weren't able to get the door open (trick: turn the lock all the way to the right and lift the door handle up as you open) and super kind/prompt if I had other questions. We'll def be back. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful place!

This was an amazing place where we felt right at home. The view was breathtaking taking, the pictures didn’t do it justice. Overall this was a great place to stay and we would definitely come back.

Looked exactly like the photos/matched description. They were also very fast to respond and helpful. The lodge itself was very charming and I loved the amount of space available and that each section had its own bathroom. The private balcony also was a hit for those who wanted fresh air or to observe the snowfall. If you are looking for a more legitimate Airbnb space (like a house) this isn’t for you. But overall, we had a great time (9 of us) and were comfortable with the space. Would definitely come back! The only thing that wasn’t ideal was they closed the outdoor pool due to the weather and we weren’t able to go in.

The interior decorating, design, construction and the stocking of the space with super useful items was excellent. We appreciated the attention to detail and will stay here again.

Very clean, comfortable, and relaxing weekend. A very nice condo on the 4th floor of a luxury hotel that included access to all of the offerings from restaurant and bar, outdoor patio and fire pit, pool and hot tub, nice views of Canandaguia Lake, and just a mile or so from downtown Canandaguia. Check in and check out instructions were straightforward. Good communication with the host. The price may be a bit more than other places in the area but you have access to all the offerings of a high end hotel on the edge of the lake. I would recommend a visit here!

10 of us stayed at Chris' property for my son's graduation from Binghamton University. We can't say enough good things about our experience, from first booking through checkout. Our hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with and helpful with all questions. The house itself is huge, and exactly as portrayed in the photographs. The pool was perfectly clean as was the entire house. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped and there are plenty of books and games for kids. The property itself is peaceful yet just 10 min drive from the university and Vestal Parkway. Highly recommend!!

Robert is an outstanding host and the accommodations were amazing! The home is beautiful with fantastic outdoor space. Robert was very responsive with communication....prior to and during our stay. Gigantic home in beautiful location. Way more room than our party of 12 could ever need. Perfect spot for the extended family coming to the area for Rochester Institute of Technology graduation! If only they could have changed the weather so we could have enjoyed the beautiful backyard of this house!

After a long day of traveling the beds were the best! Thank you for a good nights rest!

We had a great stay for a long weekend hitting the local wine trails. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and was cozy and very clean and within walking distance to downtown Penn Yan restaurants and the grocery store which made for a very comfortable stay.

I stayed here with a group of six for an event at Cornell. The home was very spacious for our size and we could comfortably hang out together in any of the living room, eating/family room and kitchen. The renovations were modern with many amenities but not uncomfortably opulent. Main businesses in Trumansburg are only a couple of blocks away to get coffee and breakfast (far enough away to avoid event crowds, primarily just locals) before heading to Ithaca or very nearby parks with gorges/trails. The hosts were very flexible, responsive, and helpful. I higher recommend this home for medium sized groups.
