Family-friendly holiday rentals in Isle of Arran

This stay at the wild cat lodge was absolutely beautiful with a stunning view and 2 friendly donkeys :), it feels very secluded but isn’t far from a lovely village. Ross came down to say hello when we arrived which I thought was very lovely.

Great place in a quiet spot good for colouring Cowal peninsula. The separate sauna and hot tub were even better than imagined. Great place for those with mobility issues.

We had our mums 80th with her family and the place was so well equipped with everything you need the rooms and space was fabulous and very well presented with its own individual character,the area brought back so many memories for my mum we can not thank and praise Alan and the place enough Thank you

Just back from a long weekend with my family for my sons 40th birthday, what an amazing place!! The house was immaculate, soooo well equipped with everything u possibly need and more!!! Everyone had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!!! Thank you soooo much iain, we had a ball!!

wonderful weekend spent here with our two young children. the private Loch area was lovely and the local village was a wonderful haggis trail which we thoroughly enjoyed! the food at the local pub is also great! the lodge was pristine and well equipped for a relaxing stay. the hit tub was immaculate although I would have preferred it a little more private. I would stay in a different lodge to resolve this in the future. it didn't impact our stay however. everyone from the lovely gentleman at reception and cleaners were extremely friendly and helpful. we couldn't have asked for more and will definitely be back!

Great quirky location for a family get together for a 60th birthday. House was very well equipped, clean and exceeded expectations, would recommend.

We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and it was absolute perfection! The space was bright, welcoming and spotlessly clean. The location was amazing - you have the benefit of the peacefulness of being far enough away from everything whilst also being close enough to local amenities that you never feel ‘stuck’. The hot tub was just what was needed after the wedding stress and was nice and easy to use with clear instructions. The cherry on top was seeing the lovely sheep with their gorgeous little lambs! We loved our stay here and will 100% be returning.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Stuart’s Airbnb in Balloch, Loch Lomond! The place was comfortable and had everything we needed — a real home away from home. It’s in a perfect location, just a short walk from the loch, restaurants, and local shops. A superb base to explore the stunning surrounding area. Stuart was a brilliant host — friendly, responsive, and helpful. Highly recommended!

Smart flat very handy to the conference centre. Good size for 1 to 2 people... Everything works well including the washer dryer. Quiet neighbours, easy access.. WiFi excellent. Highly recommended and Scott was very helpful and fast.

Cosy, clean and quiet - everything you look for in an Airbnb! We had a great stay at Anna’s and particularly loved the pretty, enclosed garden where we soaked up some Scottish sun. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again, thanks Anna!

another great stay at Tom's place, I love this flat, easy to walk into town, plenty shops and bars on doorstep. I was met by Cathy, such a lovely lady, flexible check in and out. flat is spotless, very comfy sofas and bed.

We had an amazing time in Alyson’s cabin. Even though the weather wasn’t kind, the view from the cabin makes up for it. Watching the weather change and the wonderful rainbows-amazing. Luss is a quaint, popular little village. So lovely when all the coach trips go home and you can explore on your own . There are a few places to eat and drink in Luss, the Loch Lomond hotel was lovely. We had a great walk up Ben Dubh, which is just behind Luss and also visited Conic Hill for an easier hike. The village walks are really pleasant too. The cabin had everything needed for a short stay, it was clean and well equipped. We would definitely recommend.

A fantastic place very close to the sea . The kitchen combined with the living room and access to a nice terrace is absolutely wonderful . Leah and Gary even supplied everything for a full breakfast , we appreciated that very much . It was delicious. The two bedrooms were very comfy, we loved the beds . Nice bedsheets and cushions ! Plus two bathrooms with toiletries supplied . All in all we can highly recommend Leahs and Garys place by the sea. Ps : Iain was very helpful

The Byre is Renfrewshire 's best kept secret. We have stayed many times now, and it is our go-to AirBNB when available. Tim and Jo are super-kind and very helpful. Their dogs and ours got along famously, and Captain Peacock made a couple of cameo appearances. All in all a top drawer AirBnB which is thoroughly recommended.

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Lovely place to stay, lot of effort to keep the place clean and tidy and very animal friendly. Arrived to two goodie bags for the dogs as well . Will definitely be back to stay again. Thank you

A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

Recently visited Pleasant Hill for Hen Weekend. We had previously been let down by another house and Chris was extremely helpful and reassuring. 17 of us stayed for the weekend and the house was perfect for what we needed it for. Chris was in constant contact with me, gave plenty of recommendations for local amenities and attractions and was flexible on check in and check out times. For such a large party, buying food was a concern of mines but he suggested we do an online shop beforehand and offered to collect it and put it away for us before we arrived. This really was a massive help and greatly appreciated, it was one less worry and concern I had in the run up to the weekend. Our bride and all guests had a fantastic weekend. Thank you!

I booked this stay for my colleague working in the area. He said it’s a great place and would highly recommend. The hosts were great with me. Really friendly and came back quickly answering any questions I had.

Als vriendengroep van 8 zijn we altijd op zoek naar nieuwe leuke plekken om te bezoeken. Dit jaar was de keuze gevallen op Schotland/de Hooglanden en Glasgow. Voor ons was het een ideale mix van hiken, op de fiets een stadstour doen, in verschillende restaurants de plaatselijke keuken te ervaren, op een eigen plek tot rust te komen en natuurlijk ook lekker wat biertjes te drinken. De Back Borland Cottage was een mooie, afgelegen plek met mooie uitzichten en van gemakken voorzien, zoals een heerlijk warm bubbelbad en een ruime gezamenlijke zitkamer met draaibare houtkachel. Dave heeft ons een duidelijke, beknopte uitleg gegeven over wat we konden verwachten en het verblijf is ons goed bevallen. Wat ons betreft een aanrader! Dank dat we jullie gasten konden zijn. We highly recommend James' place, it'll will be our first choice when we return. Very comfortable, clean and peaceful. The view has to be one of the best in the area, I sat looking out at it, watching all the changes as the day moved on. We were lucky to watch a couple of dolphins playing in the wake of a fishing boat too. Thankyou James.
