Holiday rentals with beach access in Isle of Arran

The flat was perfect for our holiday! The view from the front windows is stunning with lots of different things to look at. The beds were clean and comfortable and the flat is very well equipped. We found Troon town centre an easy walk away and we used the ferry terminal nearby to visit the Isle of Arran.

We had a lovely relaxing long weekend in Ardrossan taking in some local history. The view was exactly as good as pictured and I enjoyed some yoga looking out at the sea. A large Asda is nearby which is well stocked. Adrossan town train station being so close was very handy too.

Beautiful little holiday flat with everything you need for a seaside break. Clean, cosy and fabulous view of the sea at Troon, literally steps away from the beachside promenade. Jeanette had provided literally everything you might need in the kitchen including pain au chocolate for breakfast! Jeanette is so helpful and welcoming.

We were delighted with the our stay in this Airbnb. The flat is beautiful, and the view overlooking the harbour is just perfect. We found that we had everything that we required for our stay in the flat. The location is ideal for all the amenities, 4 tea rooms on the street below. The weather was absolutely gorgeous which added to our enjoyment of our stay in Rothesay.

Literally the best AirBnb I’ve ever stayed at. Need I say more?!?! Ok, I will! Super clean, well stocked, amazing view, walkable to pubs/food/gym/laundry, 10 minutes from the greatest golf in the world. Will return!!

Marna is an excellent host - providing a centrally located flat, full of old world charm, with a great view. We would highly recommend.

We loved staying here. It is an exceptional setting with stunning views whatever the weather. The cottage is beautifully done out inside and feels like home away from home. You can completely cut off from the outside world and relax and unwind. Absolutely worth the 5 stars and we’ll definitely be booking to go back.

Monica’s house exceeded our expectations! Location is perfect and the enclosed garden got the sun all day and was perfect for our dog Daisy to relax in. The house was booked for 12 friends, we all had a great stay. The garden was beautiful and we spent most time outside due to the beautiful weather. The rooms were all great sizes and were very clean on arrival. The space in the house was great for the event, and everyone in the party felt so at home in the house. The kitchen was spacious and had everything that you would need. Bathrooms were well kept, and the hosts had left plenty of towels for hotub. The games room was perfect for evening entertainment and we had great laughs in there during our stay. The house location is a 5 min drive from the ferry terminal and 5 min drive into dunoon town. Would highly recommend booking this for a weekend away!

Wow! Wow! Wow! We were totally blown away by how amazing this place is. What a beautiful, characterful home. Very easy space to relax in, with everything you need and more. Stunning location. Sitting in the window or on the front porch the views were mesmerising. Half an hour to Loch Lomond and The Cobbler. Discovered the sailing club across the road and watched sailing races while enjoying a G&T. Brian the host is so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again when we visit this part of Scotland. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Fabulous Arran home from home, immaculately clean, amazing views of the tip of goatfell to the beach, extremely well equipped and spacious feeling. Invredible walks from the door and so near the co op yet feels private. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning :)

We were impressed by the photos on the website but the cottage was even more impressive than the pictures suggested. A spotlessly clean cottage, warm and welcoming, with lots of spaces to relax from the comfortable bedroom, spacious lounge, dining kitchen, cosy nook, and porch area at the back of the property. The garden was magical too, and I found myself drawn to wander around it, seeing something new each time. We were VERY lucky with the weather & the lower patio area was a fabulous suntrap! We have a friend who lives on Bute and when we come back we will definitely look to book Hawthorn Cottage. Thank you Rosemary, we had a wonderful stay.

We loved our week at Simon’s place. Beautiful, peaceful and lots of lovely places and beaches to visit. Seals and dolphins passed by. Loved the kayaks. House was warm and comfortable with great facilities. We hope to come back!

We loved our stay at David's place in Whiting Bay which was a great base to enjoy the island, the place is super cosy with stunning views out the garden to the sea. Check in and communication was easy. The house itself is tastefully decorated with comfy beds. We especially enjoyed the wood burning stove to keep warm during the evening. Walkable to local pubs and shops as well which we appreciated. Would highly recommend!

We had a truly wonderful stay at John and Francis’s Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality — including a lovely bottle of wine that made us feel instantly at home. It’s clear how passionate they are about hosting; every detail was meticulously thought out, from the cozy touches in the space to the thoughtful recommendations they shared. Their care and enthusiasm really set this place apart. We felt so well looked after and comfortable throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

My wife and I were initially attracted by the view over the Firth of Clyde. The apartment was very comfortable and cosy and not lacking in space. In spite of being on the main road, it is set back and the bedroom is to the rear, so very peaceful with a view over the back garden. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with more than a few basics to get you started. The supermarket is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Patricia is a great host.

fantastic location , who needs Tav when you can sit and watch the waves! everything we needed while visiting family in the area, hope to be back at some point

Jill is a wonderful host. Such a lovely place and we felt very welcomed and cared for. Woodside is a very interesting house to stay in. The views are amazing and the house is spacious and very well equipped. Jill is very thoughtful host who goes the extra mile in providing really nice snacks. The apartment is located beautifully right next to lake long so we enjoyed coffee and coffee and diner looking at the beautiful scenery. The apartment is spacious and provides everything you need. We’ve never checked in into an Airbnb as beautifully equipped and carefully stocked as this apartment. There was free drinks and even food and a very special welcome for us. Communication was always quick and easy, proactive and helpful. Would recommend the apartment anytime - we had the best time!
