Waterfront holiday rentals in Inverness

This is how Air B and Bs should be. Not only was the accommodation itself fantastic (and obviously being in the Cairngorms, in a stunning location) but the hosts had thought about everything you could possibly need during your stay. Would definitely stay at the Riverside Hideaway again if I was up in that part of the world.

Kevin was a great host, very informative and friendly. The flat was in a great location. Close to the beach, lots of restaurants close by. When we arrived it was easy to find, get the keys and we were delighted when we walked through the flat. It was even better than expected. The views were terrific, we saw dolphins just outside our window one morning. We hope to come back again and would highly recommend.

What a beautiful location with so much to do and see. Views right out of the apartment were spectacular We kayaked, played soccer, badminton went swimming, played pool - so much fun!

Sheila was awesome. Very responsive. Having a sea view from the condo was quite relaxing. The condo was spotlessly clean. Having two bathrooms was a plus. The kitchen was quite well appointed. We used the combo washer/dryer and it takes a while, but worked well. The dishwasher tabs and clothes washing soap were provided, which made it convenient. One note for mobility challenged people: the elevator is in the front of the building with no parking spaces, so you park on the side street about 300’ away and a small slope to go up & down. The shower also has a 6-8” step up. My husband helped me so I was able to navigate both without an issue.

Lyndsey’s space was great! Lots of bedrooms, a place to hang out, and a kitchen that fits every need! My family was comfortable!

This place is quite special: the Apartment is in the oldest Part of the converted Abbey. It is very large, nicely furnished with extremely comfortable sofas and beds and has a very nice kitchen and bathroom. But this isn‘t all, there is the swimmingpool, gameroom etc. that you can use - even though the place was pretty full we hardly saw other people and did not hear anything from them in the flat. The absolut greatest thing about the place is it’s location right on the Loch Ness, tranquill and beautiful.

Hayley’s place is in a great location. Super walkable to everything. What we loved about it the most was that it was super comfortable and clean. Very clean! It was a bit difficult to find the parking spot initially but we were able to locate it after running a google maps satellite image. Our toddler especially loved all of the toys and was super disappointed when we had to leave. A+ accommodations!

We enjoyed our stay with the comfort of home while on vacation. The location was perfect to walk downtown and had a near by Tesco for any supplies. Quick to respond when we had a question, which was much appreciated.

We are four friends who spent a week together in Nairn in the Marine Cottage right on the beach. That you can see out of the kitchen door directly to the beach, and from the dining table you can see the sea, we found it wonderful! We often cooked in the well-equipped kitchen of the cottage. Also with the layout, with the three bedrooms, the two bathrooms and the beautiful living room with the fireplace, the cottage suited us four women well and was very comfortable. We had a nice week by the sea in Allasdair's Marine Cottage! And we will definitely come back!

Perfect place for a family or group of friends to stay, comfortable, peaceful and convenient to many Highland activities. Cool outdoor space for happy hour, kids enjoyed darts and pool in the converted garage. Kay was delightful with many excellent recommendations and full of enthusiasm for the Highlands and Scotland. She gave us nice ideas for activities and places to eat and made us feel very welcome on arrival. Hope to visit Scotland again one day!

Such a lovely place, wish we could’ve stayed even longer! We used the lodge as our home base for a day trip to Isle of Skye which worked really well. This did require a bit of driving, but we prepared for that. Highly recommend!

A lovely, well appointed property in a stunning location and with a beautiful garden going down to the River Spey too. The house has everything you need and is very clean and very comfortable. A short walk to the nearest shop, pub and restaurant. Thoroughly recommend the house and the host who is most helpful, we’d definitely stay again.

This is an amazing place to stay! The views are incredible. The location was peaceful and quiet and just minutes away from Inverness. The perfect blend of quiet and accessibility! The house was perfectly clean and very well decorated and extremely comfortable. Every amenity was available. Heather and Lewis are outstanding hosts! Very quick to respond, went above and beyond to get us checked in early, and gave fantastic recommendations. I would recommend this gorgeous cottage!

We loved everything about our stay here. Such a beautiful cottage, comfortable and spotless. An easy walk into town with the river as the backdrop. Everything you need close by. Access to free parking was very much appreciated. The lovely welcome with a chocolate cake was an added bonus! I absolutely recommend staying here.

The Shieling is an ideal location to bag a munro, explore the wildlife, the whisky distilleries and the golf courses. Lovely views across the Cromarty Firth

This place is so amazing with Loch Ness and so cool Abbey. Beautiful environment. Feeling Harry Potter life.

This apartment was outstanding and Hazel has given much attention to detail and nothing has been forgotten. We had everything we needed and more. The place was spotless and had beautiful furnishings and we all got that cosy, relaxed vibe the minute we arrived. Lovely views over the river, and you can catch a glimpse of the sea over the rooftops. A few little extras were provided for my son's 30th birthday which made it even more special. We all had a great time here and can definitely recommend, it will not disappoint. Thankyou.

Probably one of the best stays I have had, everything in the place was so well thought out. The view from the living room was exceptional. 10/10 would recommend to anyone without a doubt.

Kris’s Airbnb was the nicest place I have ever stayed at. The location was perfect, with restaurants, a gas station and a grocery store right down the road. The place was beautiful and breathtaking. Couldn’t have asked to stay anywhere better.

This accommodation was everything I hoped for and more. Very clean and well equipped, perfect for a shot and longer stay. The location is fantastic - directly at the water and the close proximity to Chanonry Points makes it perfect for dolphin watching. You can even spot them from the window of the flat! Communication was great and I can fully recommend staying at this place.

Muriel and Alexander were both super welcoming and friendly. We loved their charming apartment, and felt right at home. It was perfect for everything we needed. Inverness city center was a 10 minute walk along the river, with Ness Island a 5 minute walk. Absolutely gorgeous area to walk. We would return to their apartment if we were in Inverness again!

Karen had been an amazing host - great communication and nothing too much trouble - would highly recommend this 👍👍
