Beachfront holiday rentals in Inverness

Me and my partner visited for 1 night after completing the nc500 and it was also my partner’s birthday. We absolutely loved this place, it had absolutely everything we could think of. Karen was brilliant with her instructions and the cabin was immaculate, everything was clean and smelt good. Hot tub was awesome and the views were fantastic. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to comeback again.

Liz's place was perfect for a week of exploring the East Coast. Literally fall out of bed and you're on the beach its amazing. Few good pubs in walking distance too after a busy day on your feet! Recommend The Steamboat if you want some weekend entertainment or the Beach Hut if you want a pint with a beautiful view. Corgi Cottage was a perfect little base. Well equipped, cosy and comfortable. We packed for winter but had a fab week of sunshine! Will definitely be back one day.

Wow – what an absolutely stunning seaside getaway! This vacation home was everything we hoped for and more. It was incredibly comfortable, super relaxing, and just had the perfect vibe for a peaceful escape. We especially loved the beautiful kitchen – cooking there was a real treat – and the view from the first floor? Breathtaking! Waking up to that every day was pure magic. We had such a wonderful time and felt right at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back – without a doubt, we’ll be returning! Thank you for such a memorable stay! 🌊💛

The accommodation is large, cosy, very well equipped and very well located. A 5-minute walk to the beach, bakery and restaurant. Shopping facilities are also within walking distance. A really great flat, I can highly recommend it.

Amazing location with stunning views, great for walks on the beach and surrounding areas with the dog. Lots of villages and towns within driving distance for a day out. The cottage itself is perfect for a couple (and dog), warm, cosy and homely with everything you need to make for a perfect break. Cannot recommend enough and would certainly consider the hosts other locations for our next breaks.

5* place, don’t miss out if you get the chance to stay here! The cottage was fantastic, a real home from home and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed, full kitchen, comfortable beds and good bedding, and so spacious everywhere. Great to have option of utility room too. But then you see the view! WOW, utterly beautiful and breathtaking….. sitting outside with a glass of wine or a cuppa and just watching the sea /weather… the hills/mountains in the background… we got some great sunsets and the peace and calm of this place was enviable. Sadly no dolphins spotted this time for us! Duncan was a fab host, giving so much info on the house, local area and places to visit further away… I’d definitely suggest a walk/drive to the lighthouse in Portmahomack late afternoon and sit on the rocks for a while.. feels like you’re on the top of the world! We left calm and happy and feeling very well looked after, thank you Duncan and Susan! We’d love to come back!

Great host and great place to stay! We loved the charm of this little sea side cottage and our 3 kids had a great time being in the second bedroom. We enjoyed the cozy wood burning stove and it was perfect to warm up by after the weather was a bit windy and cold. We also loved walking around and visiting the restaurants and co-op near by as well as the park and certainly the long walks by the ocean. Thanks for sharing your home!

Sarah was a fantastic host and really friendly. She kindly delivered new garden furniture which was really appreciated given the lovely weather. A great caravan with everything you need.

Lovely stay at Shirley’s lodge. Caravan was really clean, beds super comfy and lots of games was a bonus. Great to have the bath, washing machine and dishwasher. Place was spotless and loved the decor. One row back from the beach and huge bit of grass at the front for the kids. Great communication from Shirley and we all had a fab time

A beautifully kitted out caravan which was spotless throughout. Lots of local info, right on the beach. All information was sent in advance and any additional questions were answered quickly. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back again next year!

What a brilliant place to stay! We had a great week. Cottage felt like home from home and had everything we needed! The welcome gift was a lovely treat too! Great location for exploring the local area! We will definitely be back! 100% recommend 😍

The flat was so comfortable, and the ornaments & artwork really made it feel like a home. Lynne had thoughtfully left essentials in the fridge, plus some treats, which was very kind. Being able to look out on the harbour and to sea was lovely. It's also scarily convenient for the Harbour Lights Cafe (scary if you're watching your weight!) All in all, a wonderful, relaxing stay. Highly recommend it.

What can I say… the perfect place for us to stay in The Highlands for New Year. The most beautiful view from the front of the place and inside was just as lovely. Perfect size for us as a family of 4, plenty of space and big rooms. We will definitely be booking to come back!

Had a lovely stay here with my husband, daughter and two dogs. I was already familiar with the area so knew that it would be a perfect base to go exploring locally - Lossiemouth beach and woods are a short walk away and then a little further afield there is Roseisle and Culbin. The caravan was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. The board games were a nice touch for the evenings. Nice hot shower, comfortable beds and a good size lounge area - perfect!

This is such a cosy, welcoming property and has everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The glass fronted room overlooking the bay is pretty much perfect and you really don’t need to move from this spot! You can just pop your feet up with a drink or two and quite easily spend the day watching the sea birds and people passing by, whilst admiring the wonderful landscape all around you. It was also handy to have both restaurants and shops a short stroll away, this was so convenient and added to the overall feeling of ease and relaxation. Jude was a kind and responsive host who was quick to sort out the couple of minor issues I had with accessing the lock-box and heating. All in all a lovely experience and we hope to return one day.

Otters Holt was an amazing place to start our vacation. Sue and Graham are fabulous hosts. Super friendly, responsive, and had great local suggestions for ways to spend our time there. They’ve taken the time to make sure that their home has all the small touches needed, so that you feel at home as well. The full kitchen allowed us to have family over for dinner on the coast, which was great. Plenty of space to spread out and relax, and close to the village for anything you may need. Watching the sunset from the back sitting area, and reading in the garden were my favorite activities. I am thankful they shared their home with us and would absolutely return!
