Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Inverness

Great place to stay, at high tide you feel like your right on the firth and at low tide there is a lot of area to walk. It's quite and peaceful, and was the perfect place for me and my family to relax whilst we explored Inverness, Loch Ness and the highlands

What a gem this accommodation is, after a very long drive it was just what we needed. Very comfortable and very clean, I had the best nights sleep in ages. We highly recommend this property.

We had a short but lovely stay at Julie and Spencer’s place! We felt at home right away! The place was very very clean and comfortable and close to all the attractions we wanted to see. Julie and Spencer were very helpful and responsive. The neighbours are also very friendly! The only small setback was that we were expecting bunk beds, as that was what was listed when we booked. When we arrived, there was a small double bed in its place. However, it was a minor inconvenience in the grand scope of things. We would highly recommend this place to those wanting to stay in Inverness.

Great place with tons of room. The townhome was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved the cookies, teas, cereals and milk, it was a very nice touch. We definitely needed to stay longer!

The Ness Garden is an oasis away from home. Clean and bright and beautifully decorated. It is peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed our breakfasts on the patio in the garden. The bed is comfortable and the shower is specious with a rain head shower. The off street parking is very convenient. The location is perfect. A 15 -20 minute walk to the shops and coffee shops and restaurants along the beautiful Ness Walk. We visited Culloden Battlefield and the less touristy Loch Ness at Dores village and beach. We will definitely return here again during our next Scotland vacation. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely stay at Emilys, very cosy and comfortable, clean, and within walking distance to all the shops etc. Peaceful location.

Perfect! Comfortable beds, spacious room, complete with fridge, microwave, dishes, kettle etc, fresh milk for tea & coffee and more, and the place was immaculate!Bethany had thought of everything. Great, quiet location near Culloden battlefield and the city of Inverness. Bethany is a most pleasant and welcoming host. Truly excellent!!

Had an awesome in Inverness and the studio was beautiful. Very nice view and very clean. Carol’s directions were very helpful in getting me there as it’s not the easiest place to find; Which is a good thing when looking for privacy!

Puffin parlour was a wonderful home away from home. Michelle was east to talk to and communicate with and provided many extra useful items within the flat. It was centrally located so was easy for us to walk to many of the local attractions and was also easy to get to train and bus stations. The flat was clean and well tended and big enough that we felt we had plenty of room to cook and relax.

This was the perfect place to stay in inverness!! Close to everything. Well appointed, clean, basically anything you would need while visiting. Jill responded to all messages so quickly.

Place was fantastic! Clean and inviting, located near enough to everything to make navigation easy, but just far enough away to make things quiet at night. Great space!

The Airbnb was in a brilliant location. We walked around Inverness from the accommodation. The airbnb had everything we needed and more Kath was a brilliant host. Thank you for the delicious breakfast.

Fantastic location: walking distance to town center; steps from River Ness walk. The apartment is very comfortable, bright and clean, and the kitchen well stocked with utensils and appliances. Carol and Andrea are great hosts: super quick to respond, and ready to make the extra effort to accommodate our needs. Our family had a wonderful stay.

The Apartment in Highland Council was very nice and clean! There were also plenty of towels! The highlight was the beautiful, modern bathroom with the wonderful shower with a full enclosure door and a niche to place your shampoos, etc. Believe us when we say this is a plus in the UK! The water pressure and the hot water was also a plus. Again, this is not always the case in the UK! The apartment was quiet even though it is situated right by a road. The parking is by its back door/patio entrance which is by the market parking lot. We entered and exited from this door during our stay, and used the market parking near the back gate. The kitchen is adorable and functional, but it’s small. It has a very small refrigerator, so small amounts of groceries are best to buy if you’re cooking in. There were some staples available for use, a coffee maker and a kettle. The washer dryer was definitely a plus!

Great place close enough to the main area of town. Very clean and comfortable space.

We loved this place, it was really cozy, we felt right at home and Donald was very nice and helpful.

Elaine was an amazing host. Very friendly, helpful & responsive. The apartment is lovely - nicely decorated and clean. The kitchen had everything I needed. As in the listing & other reviews, it is indeed a great location - quiet but close to city center. It’s just a few minutes walk to town and the train station. I was under the weather so plan to return to Inverness and I would definitely stay in this apartment again if available.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and had a beautiful view of the river. Sandra was very responsive and kind.

Good spot at a very reasonable price. Place was clean and sufficed for one night, though it was a bit of a squeeze for 3 adults. Location was decent but a bit of a walk from the center of Inverness (maybe 15-20 minutes). Overall would stay again and had no issues.

The space was overall great. The pamphlets in the manual were extremely helpful and there was so much to do so close to the flat.

The place was much better than what was described. Mark is very warm and friendly. We stayed just for a night. Would definitely stay longer next time.

We had a great stay at Catherine's place in Inverness! Catherine, the host was easy to communicate with and shared a ton of helpful recommendations for local sights and restaurants. The apartment is well located—an easy walk to the town center and the River Ness. It’s equipped with lots of thoughtful amenities that made it feel like a home while exploring the Highlands. Highly recommend!
