We felt very comfortable with Margrét. The house is as described, and the communication was super pleasant. The horse ride was definitely a highlight.

The accommodation is beautifully located, very cozy and quiet with a view of a small lake. Good starting point for activities in Snaefellsnes. We liked it very much and the communication with Bjarni was great!

This is an authentic stay, one that might be overlooked but shouldn’t be if you are wanting a place to stay close to the peninsula. Fjola is deeply connected to her family land and she is so kind. The home is remote by US standards but that’s part of the charm. The view from one of the bedrooms is unforgettable. We enjoyed the goats and cat that visited us each morning and evening.
