Had a great stay, received a warm welcome with Wine, Crackers and Cheese. Was given clear instructions on how to get to the cottage, how to enter, all the local amenities and how to use all the facilities. Was the perfect cottage for our trip, 5 Adults and a fox terrier. Great location, a shortish walk to dunstanburgh castle, Caster and close to Alnwick by car. The cottage had everything we needed for the weekend and would highly recommend.

woodpecker cottage is a lovely place to stay as soon as we walked in you felt at home it was so clean and tidy. It was lovely to sit in the conservatory and look out to the garden.Helen was very helpful if you had any questions and replied quickly. We cant wait to go back.
