This is the perfect Airbnb for a vacation in the mountains! I have stayed here twice and will be back again! The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. Sitting in the hot tub at night is very relaxing and you can see so many stars out. Be sure to explore all of the waterfalls in the area to!

We had a wonderful family time at Parker’s cabin. Has everything you may need to enjoy your time in the secluded woods of NC. Very private but with all the amenities you may need. Internet was good and the place very comfortable. It was quite rainy during our stay but we had no issues staying in and enjoying the hot tub from time to time. Would fully recommend this place to any one. Thank you Parker!

Absolutely stunning views, incredible property and lovely landscaping made this a wonderful stay! The host was so helpful and our entire trip went perfectly!

We searched for a cabin for a long time, and in the end got tired of all the options and just picked this one. From the moment we entered we know we had made a great choice and we ended up booking an extra night. The cabin is supercosy and well organized, the view is amazing. There is one cabin at like 60 meters away or something but when you look out on your deck you feel like you're all alone in the world and it's a wonderful feeling. I can 100% recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful trip! Enjoyed the fire pit and beautiful views from the deck. Our first time to the smoky mountains and we were very pleased with the location and ease of getting to the park. Especially enjoyed the quieter side of the park. Host was very responsive to our questions and things we needed help with. We would definitely stay at their properties again. Cozy bed and everything we needed for the week. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Bear Den was a superb place to stay. Patricia was a wonderful host. This has been our best experience with an AirBnB this far. Patricia was super organized with all her information and we really appreciate her information she shared on everything there was to do in the neighborhood from Sightseeing to restaurant recommendations. The place was great. It did not have a nice mountain view like we have had with other placed but it was in a very tranquil location and it felt very private. We stayed with their with 4 adults and 2 teens and it was easy to sleep us all. The creek outside was awesome as well and gave our teens plenty of entertainment. No need to bring games or things to do, it's all there, including a hot tub to relax and corn hole for a bit of fun. It location is fab with the most beautiful windy roads and waterfalls just 10 minutes away. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again.

My brother and I stayed here for a night in-between us doing a bunch of adventurous things in the smoky mountains. The place is gorgeous, and was super clean and stocked up when we arrived. there were so many thoughtful touches that we noticed upon checking-in, like a guidebook filled with all the local recommendations/how to use the amenities, towels and robes for the hot tub/sauna, and, my perfonal favorite, a smores kit for the campfire! Another thing to note is the stunning views this place has! Waking up in the lift gives you the most breathtaking view of the smoky mountains. As well as when you relax in the hot tub you can look out into nature and relax in the serenity and take in the view. Krista was an amazing host and was so friendly and proactive about check-in and check-out. We will definitely be staying here again if we are ever in the area! And if you love nature, stunning views, a clean, comfortable, and cozy place to stay, then look no further than Krista's A-frame!

Me and my husband searched for the perfect romantic getaway for our late honeymoon/ 1 year anniversary. When we came across Knotty But Nice we were sold! The view was immaculate, pictures do not do justice. The house was extremely clean and cozy. The hot tub was clean and so relaxing. Overall peaceful and private! The drive up was pretty scary the first time, I’m definitely glad that we had an SUV! But 10/10 recommend! We are already planning another trip in the fall. Thanks Dana & Trish! 😊

The house is a very cute out in the mountains! The creek in the backyard and the sauna are easily the highlights!

Property (farm) is beautiful and well kept. Cabin is modern, well appointed, very clean and well cared for. Open views of the surrounding mountains, fields, river and farm animals is so nice it almost seems unreal. Note: there is not a full kitchen but instead a make shift kitchenette area with a portable burner, microwave, toaster oven, etc - fine for preparing simple meals. Excellent host. Good, fast, spot-on communication. Overall a quiet, ideal place to get away and relax.

We had a great stay at Carolyn’s cabin! It was away from everything, which some may not like, but that’s exactly how we like it. It forces you to get creative and just enjoy the simple things, like the sounds of nature. She had beautiful flowers and plants on the deck, which brought in lots of hummingbirds. The beds were comfy, the kitchen and bathroom had extras for you to use, along with high quality pots and pans. (Stainless steel is all we use). The drive was steep, but our truck did just fine. Our dog enjoyed it all as well. 🐾

We all liked the rustic cabin. It was very quaint, comfortable and a great location. The porches are so nice and relaxing. Enjoyed the place with our family very much. Great memories and exercise made on our NC Mountain trips always!.

Beautiful place. Anniversary trip for us to get away. Rainbow Lake is really more of a pond, but still loved canoeing on it. Very clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and loved having a screen porch to enjoy the property without the bugs. Matt was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

This was one of my favorite Air BNB’s to date! Everything was phenomenal and it was the perfect weekend getaway. Super secluded and everything as described. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Awesome cabin in the woods. Very peaceful and relaxing among beautiful surroundings. Just outside Nantahala National Forest and close to the Smoky Mountains. Fantastic trout fishing nearby!

We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful area, peaceful surroundings and we loved the screened in porch. The road to the driveway is steep and a little worn down but we had no issues in our small SUV. Great place to watch birds and wildlife.

Great stay! The place was quiet, comfortable, and just as described. Would definitely recommend!

Heather’s place was a great retreat! The cabin was well appointed with interesting decor and a comfortable bed. She had everything one needs for a restful stay from the snacks in the cupboard to the drinks in the fridge. The shower had good water pressure with hot water. Plenty of clean, soft towels were set out ready for you. The landscape had to be my favorite! She takes great pride in offering a variety of flowering plants in the front garden. The moss garden was my favorite! It reminded me of my childhood and playing in the woods. The moss was always my carpet in my fairy home.😁 There are lots of seating outside to accommodate your nature soaking. It rained when we were there and so we did not use the fire chimney but it was a nice feature given the right time. We definitely be back to the Locust Log Cabin whenever we want a quick getaway. We loved the place! Super creative architecture, nestled in the nature. It’s bigger than we expected. Close to Clemson University, and to amazing hiking spots! Would definitely return. Thank you!

We loved our vacation on the lake in Tamassee! The location was perfect. We went on 2 beautiful hikes in nearby Nantahala National Forest (highly recommend) and spent lots of time on the beautiful lake jocassee and keowee. The house had everything we needed, was private and peaceful, and we saw lots of wildlife. Tom was very responsive, but we hardly needed to reach out because we had everything we needed.

This home is a perfect getaway. It is off the beaten path, yet only 8 or 9 minutes from Highlands. It is well equipped for just about all of your needs and then some. The host was very responsive and even reached out to us to see how our first night went. I can’t recommend it enough. The only problem that we encountered was the strength of wifi, which obviously affects your streaming ability. With an AT&T and a Verizon phone, both had no signal while we were there. Beyond that, put your phone down and enjoy what you came to enjoy. You won’t lose all contact with civilization, but I would not recommend it for a business related retreat or a week/weekend where broadband access is crucial. Other than that, It is probably one of the most well furnished and well equipped Airbnb’s I have stayed in. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. It was a perfect couple of days for our honeymoon, and we are already looking forward to returning. PSA: Driving an SUV or a truck is advisable.

One of the most peaceful settings I have ever experienced. There is nothing else around but nature , mountains and quiet. A few miles up the road from a several of my favorite hikes in the south. Wonderful time.

I’ve stayed in 37 Airbnb properties and this one is my absolute favorite. It was like walking into a beautiful dream with fresh flowers, local art work displayed, soap etc. Such a peaceful and comfortable place. I will be back!
