We loved staying at Grace's ground floor 1 bedroom apartment with terrace. This appeared to be almost newly constructed with nice finishes and well planned details. It is small but worked for us as a couple for a week as a base for exploring Colmar, France, the black forest in Germany, and Basel, Switzerland. It would work with a family with a child, as the futon is available. There us a 1 burner induction plate and nice microwave which we managed well for cooking in. The neighborhood is a lovely residential area with a country lane. You could easily walk to the small town. Grace is very friendly and always responsive. She gave us great suggestions for day trips. We would return, and highly recommend this place.

This is the second time we have stayed here in Allschwil. It is a wonderful "Riegelbau" building with a lot of history. We absolutely love it - it is home from home for us. Claude and Ursula are the perfect hosts - very accommodating and always contactable should one ever need any assistance. They also organised a guest pass for us - which means free access to public transport as well as discounts on museums visits. The location is perfect - easy access to pubIic transport. Very peaceful. The locals are super friendly. Look no further. This is the place to be!!!

Great gem, highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet affordable place near Basel that can sleep 6+ people. Location is very convenient - under 30 mins door-to-door to central Basel if you use public transport and 10mins by car. We had a great stay and will happily book again!

Loft very close to Basel, so very convenient for visiting the city but at the same time in a very quiet place and in the middle of greenery. Clean, tidy. We asked for a cot and high chair for our son and they got it for us without any problems.
