I always enjoy tranquility. The cottage didn't disappoint, it was a great experience in every way. Plenty of very comfortable space with two TV's and great kitchen with everything you require. Good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds gave a great sleep . Excellent small shower room. Also a good sized bathroom with shower and bath. The natural light that comes in to the large lounge with patio doors is uplifting, with the large TV it's great to relax and chill out . The smaller lounge is very cozy and also has a TV if you have a need to watch different programs. WiFi is excellent in all rooms. I Didn't use the log fired hot tub. However, seems straight forward enough with comprehensive instructions to get it up and running. Milk in the fridge with pot of jam, also tea, coffee, and biscuits was an appreciated welcome. Curlew cottage is a excellent choice with the feeling of a spacial home from home. Emma is indeed a super host and I'll certainly be returning in future. Thank you Emma!

Andy was an amazing host, the rooms where very spacious, also had game provided that we could use. we asked if he had any binoculars and he managed to provided us some to borrow. over all we think this a 5 out of 5 place to stay

Great place to stay. Joanne was very friendly and responsive. Lots of great walks in the local area. Would definitely recommend.

This is a perfect gem. If you are looking for tranquility with beautiful scenery, surrounded by nature this is the place for you. We spent every day enjoying the loch with swimming and kayaking. The log fire was great for enjoying the evenings. The master bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like a log every night 🤣 We also arrived to a welcome package which was a great touch. This really is a home from home with everything you need. Locally we enjoyed 2 of the 7stanes mountain biking and walking locations. We also visited the Red kite feeding station at Bellymack hill farm in Laurieston which was an incredible sight to see and a great ice cream down at rockcliff beach. We will definitely be returning and cannot wait.
