Monthly Rentals in Hanging Lake

Hands down one of my favorite AirBNB experiences of all time! We had high expectations and they were totally blown out of the water. They offer an intimate alpaca experience included with the cost, and our cabin’s front door opened up to an alpaca enclosure! Less talked about points of interest: 1. Location: the farm is not only beautiful, but one of the only places I’ve been where you’re surrounded by mountains on every side. Serene and peaceful - also low light pollution at night. Go stargazing! 2. Fully stocked cabin: way beyond the bare minimum in terms of cooking supplies and serving ware. 3. The little AC machines kick out COLD air! It was 95 degrees out and we were chilly in our room. 4. Close to a supermarket and very close to cute little town (New Castle). Hosts are super communicative and informative! Went above and beyond to accommodate us with short notice (from our side). If this place is free, book it! You will NOT regret it.

We were very happy with our one-night stay here. With five of us, it was great to have space to spread out and cook, especially compared to the pricey, crowded hotels in Glenwood Springs. Also, the owner was kind enough to let us know we left something and they put it out for us to pick up on our way back. We'd definitely stay here again if we return to this part of Colorado.

We had a great stay! The room was clean, cozy, and just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. Communication with the host was easy and smooth the entire time they were super helpful and made us feel really welcome. You can tell they truly care about their guests. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a comfortable and friendly place!

Beautiful home, right on the river walking path. Stunning red rocks view across the river. The house has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Friendly and responsive host. I’ll be back!
