'Willow' Yurt in West Sussex Countryside

ReubenRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We visited during the weekend to attend Goodwood Festival of Speed. Really enjoyed just relaxing after the mayhem of the festival. The yurt itself is lovely, quaint and liveable for a weekend or longer should one choose. We were provided with logs for a fire in the stove and to light them outside. There's an on site facility to purchase bare essentials but there's also a shop nearby to purchase anything else. Would love to visit and stay again. Thanks

All Seasons Yurt

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a brilliant stay in the all seasons yurt; it was very quirky whilst still being warm, practical and peaceful. The main yurt had a comfortable bed, brilliant log burner as well as two sofas and a small table. Plus a wardrobe and cupboard full of spare blankets if we needed. The kitchen/BBQ had what we needed to cook for two evenings and have breakfast at home as well. There is a "shop" which holds your own fridge and plenty of ice blocks which can be used to keep some food at the yurt in the cool box provided. The shower was hot and powerful and there is a flushing toilet, it's not far from the yurt so it's not a faff in the night! Fernhill is on the edge of Wootten Bridge where there are pubs, a shop, cafe & takeaway places and is so close to the Fishbourne ferry. With a car it is easy to explore further afield on the island but the buses are ok. Ultimately though it is the location that sells this place, so peaceful, the dogs are friendly & the peacocks spectacular. Thank you!

'Oak' Yurt in West Sussex countryside

VerityRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Myself, my husband and our two young boys had the most fabulous 2 night stay in the ‘oak’ yurt. The most beautiful surroundings. The boys loved exploring bluebell woods. Yurt was comfy and cosy, did get pretty chilly at night (we stayed early April) but soon got toasty with the help of the wood burner. Lovely walk in shower and clean toilet right next to the yurt. Was just perfect sitting out at night by the firepit toasting marshmallows and star-gazing. Would most definitely recommend, 5 🌟

Woodland Yurt

IanRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We spent 2 lovely nights in the yurt, which could have been a challenge since it is January! But everything was super, despite snow and rain and minus temperatures! It is very peaceful, pretty isolated with amazing views and sunsets. It is 'back to basics' - but as described. The outdoor kitchen was fun, and had most things we needed. The fire 'pit' has a grill and there was plenty of wood and kindling. We did bring our own chairs (lots of log seating, but all a bit damp in winter). The water had frozen when we arrived but Rosie left us 2 large cartons of water, so all good. And the yurt was toasty once we lit the indoor burner. Woods are full of wildlife, spotted 2 deer and an owl... and heard much more. Will be back in the warmer months for sure!

'Crab Shack' Luxury Yurt with Harbour & Sea Views

JamesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I visited the Crab Shack for a long weekend with my Daughter (8) and our little dog... We had a wonderful time! The Crab Shack is a very comfortable place to stay, well located for a short walk into town, with all the amenities we needed. The shower and toilet facilities, a very short walk from the yurt, were impeccably clean and the water runs fast and hot in the showers. The local independent pubs in town are friendly, serving good food and drink at a reasonable price, and we were lucky enough to find live music being performed each night. Would strongly recommend taking the short (20 minutes) drive to West Wittering Beach for a beautiful day out... Pizza from Pecorino in East Wittering was fabulous too.

'Genoa' a luxurious yurt with sea & harbour views

ClareRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I can not praise Kim and Andre and this BEAUTIFUL set up they have highly enough!! The Yurts are spacious, cosy, and well thought about. The photos and description are true to what you get. There is also an outdoor toilet directly outside (Genoa anyway) the yurt for desperate midnight visits. The get together BBQ area is very cute, and the harbour is STUNNING. Lovely and quiet in the evenings. Kim and Andre are so welcoming and gave us great recommendations to eat and drink (best steak of my life at JJs). If you want a chilled weekend to marvel at the beauty of the simple things and be in a super comfy bed by midnight, then it doesn't get better than this. Thank you so much for having us and sharing this beautiful place with us!

Our Luxury yurt in peaceful setting close to Cowes

JohnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Charlotte's Yurt. The Yurt is very nice and has everything that you would need. Appreciated the eggs, butter, cake etc on arrival. The hosts are extremely approachable and very good with kids. Our kids miss feeding the chickens already!! Highly recommend staying as this luxury Yurt.

Glamping in a luxury yurt with incredible views

CatherineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The yurt was stunning - really spacious, with a huge bed, single day bed, kitchen area and plenty of room for belongings etc (don’t think the photos quite do it justice!). We enjoyed making use of the woodburner, which quickly made it really cosy inside. The area was really peaceful. Great having a toilet so close to the yurt, and the showers were clean and accessible. Esther was really responsive and sent clear instructions. If not driving would recommend coming prepared with supplies, we did cycle to the nearest pub (not the most enjoyable trip in the dark!) but wished we’d planned better so we could enjoy the yurt more.

Farmyard Yurt

LizRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Beautiful location and accommodation, had all the features we were looking for and we loved having our log burner to keep us warm and hearing the horses in the morning. A bird of prey flew over our heads as we were eating our breakfast! Really eco-focused facilities, and very comfortable yurt and Shepherd’s hut. Owners resolved anything that came up during our stay.

‘PEARL’ a luxury waterside yurt with harbour views

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had the most wonderful stay in the yurt on Emsworth Harbour! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful setting—peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature with breathtaking views of the water. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the gentle lapping of the tide was incredibly relaxing. All three children, ages 5 - 10years, had a fantastic time! The yurt itself was cozy, and surprisingly spacious, with thoughtful touches that made it feel really special—and a comfy bed that made for a perfect night’s sleep. The outdoor area was a highlight for us—great for morning coffee or evening stargazing. Emsworth is a lovely little town just a short walk away, with great pubs, cafés, and coastal walks. We also enjoyed having the harbour right on the doorstep! Overall, this was a magical, peaceful escape and we’re already planning our return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Great place to stay! Lovely comfy bed, kettle and tea/coffee making facilities, plus mini kitchen. We stayed when it was relatively cold and the electric heater and wood burning stove, kept us lovely and warm. You are provided with a big basket of wood daily, included in the cost. There is also a heated blanket on the bed. You have your own outdoor bathroom attached to your tent. The compostable loo was “interesting”, but it was definitely 100% better than trekking across a field at night! There is a table and chairs inside, as well as an outdoor table/chairs under a gazebo. Outside each yurt has its own decked area, with barbecue and mini stove. We hired a hot tub at an additional cost (£75). The hot tubs are fully emptied and cleaned after each party leaves. Debbie is very welcoming and on arrival, we were left Halloween sweets for the children, chocolate brownies, a mini bottle of milk in the fridge and a bottle of drinking water.

Old Dairy Farm Luxury Glamping Emsworth (1)

Lauren & DomRating, 5 stars31 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at The Old Dairy Farm Glamping. The yurt was immaculate with everything we needed. The en-suite bathroom was an extra win. Definitely camping in style! The beds were warm and comfy and my daughters loved their stretcher beds too. It wasn’t cold enough to use the wood burner inside but we loved the fire pit and outdoor gas hob and little Weber bbq. The skies even cleared so we could do some star gazing! Debbie is very helpful and responsive and quick to answer any questions. All in all a fab little getaway.
