Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Guanacaste Province

My husband and I took our first family vacation with our 2.5 year old son, and Pedro's home was the perfect family-friendly location. First, the home itself felt even nicer than shown in the pictures. The home was spotless, spacious, and included everything we needed for our stay. Our toddler was delighted by all of the beach and pool toys on the property, and the pool has a large shallow ledge that made swimming much more accessible to him. The pool was cleaned every morning by the groundskeeper who was very friendly. The property is fully gated, and we felt safe and comfortable knowing that Pedro and his wife lived on the third floor, and the groundskeeper also lived on the property. That said, our stay still felt private. The location and views simply cannot be beat. Each evening, the sun sets directly in front of the property over the ocean. Playa Hermosa as a whole was quiet, calm, and welcoming, and I'd argue that Pedro's home is the best property there.

This is our second time at Nick's place and it was everything we remembered. You can walk out the back patio and in 100 feet, go right into the ocean, with great surfing right there. Short walk to Tamarindo for restaurants and shopping, but secluded enough for peace and quiet. Several small maintenance issues popped up during the 10 days, but Nick responded in 15 minutes each time and the problems were resolved in an hour or two. Great host, great location, and great communication. We'll definitely be back.

Arcadia is the sanctuary you've always dreamt of, especially sunsets. I always made sure I was there to watch the sun go down, as that view is breathtaking. This place far exceeded our expectations, and the host was more than accommodating. Have and would HIGHLY recommend this remote spot, it is everything and more!!!!

This place exceeded my expectations. Pictures don’t do justice. The restaurant at the top is AMAZING. Lizette, the person who received us, is a beautiful person and very knowledgeable. Don’t think twice to book this!!!!

From the moment we booked Vanessa was very responsive & knowledgeable. She was able to provide all the insight we needed to make our trip a memorable one. She went out of her way to make sure she was there when we checked in which was really nice & caring. She checked in with us via chat during our stay to make sure everything was going smooth. The view & villa were spectacular and all we needed as a couple to be able to rest & relax. If your a big beach person def recommend checking out Playa Cochal, a short commute from the villa. The condo was as described and is in a great location. The views are beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. The little beach is great and there are many iguana around the property, much to the delight of our child. The pool was clean and there was plenty of room. We would definitely stay there again.

Candidly, I do not know / did not interact with Viktor, but I do want to share my outstanding experience with Erika - who managed everything during my stay. She was always kind, helpful, and embodied the pura vida spirit - they are lucky to have her and you will not be disappointed with your stay if she is there. Thanks, Erika!

Ana’s place was perfect, just enough out of the busy area to feel tranquillity, but still close enough to all things and easily walkable. Communications were great and very helpful, I loved staying here. Thank you for everything and kickstarting my first Costa Rican experience! Would love to be back one day :)

We loved our week stay in Playa Hermosa. The view is amazing and the house was the perfect size for us. We loved the gym, deck and pool. Ian was super helpful with scheduling activities. The best part of our stay was definitely having Rebecca come every morning and make us the best breakfasts ever! She is a superstar and even helped us with our Spanish. We will definitely return and would highly recommend visiting!

Our family of 4 (2 parents and 2 teens) spent a week at Benton's place and loved every second. The home is gorgeous and exceptionally well stocked. The beds are very comfortable (something that is very important to us) and the spaces are pleasant. The view is second to none! If you are looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of your own life or busy tourist locations to recharge, this place is it. Benton was incredibly helpful, friendly and responsive. He booked a fantastic chef for us for 3 meals (some of the best meals we had while in the area) and a wonderful snorkeling adventure. He also gave us great recommendations on the best grocery stores and restaurants in the area. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul and what a thoughtful and kind host Benton is. You won't be disappointed with a stay here.

Amazing place to stay with the family

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect—just a short, scenic walk to the beach, where we felt like we had a little slice of paradise to ourselves. One of the most magical parts? We spotted monkeys in the trees right off our deck—it felt like something out of a nature documentary! The place itself is spotless, modern, and thoughtfully decorated with charming, beachy touches that made it feel both cozy and stylish. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful from the moment we arrived, always available with a smile or a great local tip. And we have to mention the cats! We completely fell in love with them—they added such a sweet, homey vibe to the property. We’re already dreaming about our next trip back. If you’re headed to Costa Rica, this spot is a total gem!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. From arrival to departure we felt at home. Questions were answered immediately and our host was extremely proactive in finding or sourcing items we needed. Highly recommend their recommendation for an ATV rental, we were thrilled at having this at the place with us and made getting into town a breeze! We felt incredibly safe and everything we needed was a short distance. The house is exceptionally private and well furnished. The pool is pristine and again, the hosts are just top notch. I’ve stayed at many airbnbs and never have had such a seamless level of communication. Thank you so much for making this such a memorable trip for my family. I cannot wait to return!

This stay was amazing! The home became our haven during our stay in Costa Rica. We were able to see so much of Costa Rica without driving too far. Bring only 10 minutes from Playa Negra was so fun. When we were home we basically lived in the pool, overall an incredible experience at this home.

Great place to stay. Close to Brasilito and Conchal and local restaurants. Quiet and peaceful little place. Very enjoyable. Would stay here again for sure.

If you are looking to get away and find peace, this is your place. It is a stunning home with a view for days. The drive is challenging, but so worth the effort. Be sure to pick up everything you need before you head up because it's a trek to town. El Tigre Waterfalls is a must and you can't go wrong with any of the ziplines. Put this on your list!

A wonderful condo in a quieter part of town with peaceful pools and beautiful views from the rooftop. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

This was the final stay of our 2 week trip in Costa Rica and easily our favorite stay. David was such a lovely host, a kindred spirit as my wife would say, and very helpful. The condo had everything you could need, even beach equipment like chairs, cooler and boogie boards. It was very homey and stocked with all your general essentials, even less common items like a crockpot! We had a 10/10 stay and hope to be back again soon! Thank you David!

We love going to Reserva Conchal and Daphne's place had everything we wanted, from plenty of bedrooms, to a great location and view overlooking the golf course. Once inside the reserve, we had access to both The Westin and The W and all the amenities they had to offer. Great place to spend a weekend.

We loved our stay here! Diana’s home is lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed having all necessary items-including beach gear-and enjoyed the pool after our outings. Diana’s recommendations were fantastic and led us to several memorable sunsets and delicious meals. We would love to return. It’s a wonderful home base for exploring the north coast.

Michelle's place is super cute as described. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated all of the extra pillows. We enjoyed going to the beautiful beaches and it was great to have the beach chairs & cooler for our use. We had the pool all to ourself, which we enjoyed. We really loved the town and all of the fabulous restaurants. Thank you, Michelle!

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

Loved staying at Katie & Happy’s place! It was a little walk from downtown Tamarindo, but we loved making the walk and noticed a lot of people utilized the scooters all around or had rented golf carts, which we would have opted for if we brought our kids. They provided beach towels and chairs that we used often and a filtered water pitcher in the fridge so that saved us on purchasing bottled water, which was so helpful. There was a little market close by and several amazing restaurants. The pizza place across the street was the best pizza we’ve ever had and I went to the nearby snack shack for açaí bowls and coffee almost daily. Langosta was a beautiful area to stay in with close private beach access. We were also able to walk the beach to Tamarindo at low tide. We loved this place and location and would definitely stay here again! Thanks Katie & Happy!
