Cottage holiday rentals in Guanacaste Province

Andrea was an exceptional host, very helpful and responsive. The place was more beautiful than the photos and the attention to detail inside was very nice. I highly recommend a stay here for a very peaceful, restful, and for the amazing views and experience.

We absolutely loved this place. It is well maintained and has everything you need. It feels like home. The woodwork in the house is so beautiful. The property is gorgeous and has trails to explore. Carolina and Manuel arranged to get some specially requested food for our stay. They had the food there for our arrival which was so helpful. Manuel took us on an awesome night hike. Carolina’s husband also gave us a tour of the property too. Carolina and her family really go out of their way to make this a welcoming place. They grow amazing coffee on the property which we really enjoyed. They also shared their garden veggies and the bananas. We stayed 4 days and wished we had stayed longer. We found it easy to go into Monteverde for activities like coffee tours, cloud forest, animal sanctuary el Tigre waterfall, etc. There are some great restaurants close by the house and of course in monteverde too. We enjoyed ordering homemade empanadas from cafe Horizonte for breakfast.

It was a quiet stay, anything you need are always attentive right next door to doña Odiney that anything you need is very friendly, the local people are very friendly and the views and the waterfall are beautiful

Neal and Diane were very helpful. we had some issues with the car, contacting folks back home. They gave us some good tips. I had an issue with my knee and they gave me the number to a physical therapist in the area. Claudia was great, I was experiencing no pain by the time I left. The pool was a good place to watch storms move in and out from. The birds and other ani.als made it wonderful to look at. There property is just so beautiful. Tronodora is small but has all the things in a short walk for a long stay or a short stay. We had a car but on most days we simply walked into town. We fid hang out with there two dogs, Franny and Albert. They were cute, loving, creatures.

This property is as described and the hosts are friendly, responsive, and good resources. This is a truly unique setting for the area – beautifully landscaped and situated on a ridge with panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding hills. We spent more time than anticipated outside at the pool and gazebo watching the bird and monkey activities, especially during sunrises and sunsets. It’s off the beaten path, but an easy drive to many excellent beaches and the more touristy Tamarindo area. The house is designed and decorated exquisitely. Our only knock is that some of the appliances were not fully functioning, but we made do and that’s pura vida. If you like nature in all its forms and appreciate the ebbs and flow of the day, this is a great spot.

Awesome location with no people. Very isolated which was awesome. You can hear the ocean from the bedroom and living area. We have already booked our return trip. It is an Eden experience. Love the place and will be back soon.

The little blue house is exactly what one needs. Has a working kitchen, quiet, and best of all the beach is right there. It was nice to have a peaceful place to return to after busy excursions into the cities or whatever else. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely visit again

Chechey is a great host, he is very responsive and kind. The place was very well located in the center of Bijagua, and it is in a quiet street. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. I definitely recommend the place!

David was such a good host and very responsive! The airbnb had everything I needed and felt cozy. It was a short walk to the beach and easy access to the supermarket and other shops. Can’t wait to go back!

The house is very well equipped, the host cares about its comfort. Everything was clean and smelled good, the access to the house for a car is a bit tricky in addition to the street being stone. But in short, the house itself is a very good accommodation option

We loved our stay at La Casita, lots of less touristy but beautiful things to do. Poza Loz Coyotes was so fun and cheap, sunset at the El Mirador restaurant. Felt very private, the space is great. Our kids loved the dogs and the massive pool. Because was so kind, brought us fruits from the property. We would definitely go back.

House is on a dairy farm, cozy and comfortable. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking, thank you very much. You do need to buy your food before you go since it is a little remote. There is someone working in the middle of the night next to the house and that might bother you if you are a light sleeper. One of the bathroom does not have hot water at the time and it seems common that kitchen does not have hot water. We are ok since there is another bathroom has warm enough water for shower.

Very functional accommodation in the middle of nature. Located 1km from a small supermarket and on the main axis of the bus going to Santa Cruz. If you're lucky, you can even hear and see the monkeys who live nearby. Lauren was very responsive during our stay. I would recommned this property.

We were 6 people including 2 children, for a 4-day stay. Everything went well. we particularly liked the pool, the calm of the wooded, flowery and particularly neat park, the animals, the driveway and the walking path in the forest.. Eduardo, the caretaker, was kind and helped us when we needed it. In short, we loved our stay.

Authentic Costa Rican experience where we found our Pura Vida. Jessica was a very responsive host. Grounds were lovely and just steps away from the beach, the sunsets did not disappoint.

There is so much to say about Emanuel’s place! First of all it was in a gorgeous area. Please know 4x4 is highly recommended! The house had everything we needed. Emanuel’s mom was there to greet us and to show us the property and show some amazing hospitality! If you want the real experience stay here! We are already in the process of planning our next stay with Emanuel!

This is a nice, spacious place. The hosts are super friendly and gracious. The town is beautiful ... one of my favorite spots in Costa Rica.

A place full of tranquility my popes were fascinated and that was the main goal, the clean clean and cool beautiful house actually despite the weather in general we had a super comfortable and safe time. thank you very much thank you very much and pleased to come back again.
