Farmstay holiday rentals in Guanacaste Province

Wir ( Familie mit 2 Kindern , 6 & 3 Jahre alt) fühlten uns sehr wohl auf der Fidelito Ranche. Die Kinder genossen es im Garten zu spielen, die Hunde zu füttern und zu duschen, sowie den tollen Reitausflug mit Leon. Wir haben die ruhige Lage sehr geschätzt, konnten aber auch schnell in die grösseren Städte gelangen.

J’ai beaucoup aimé mon séjour à la casita. C’est rudimentaire mais fidèle à la description. Ça été un lieu de ressourcement pour moi. Le lieu est un peu compliqué à trouver: il faut se rendre proche avec les coordonnés GPS puis suivre les indications des hôtes indiqués dans les spécifications et alors: il n’y aura pas de problème. J’ai passé un superbe moment avec Andy et Angy: j’ai même soupé avec eux et ils ont été très accueillants. Le déjeuner était exquis et j’ai dégusté avec plaisir leurs produits faits maison et ce qu’ils cultivent avec passion. Ils m’ont fait d’excellents suggestions d’itinéraire et j’ai pu découvrir des routes fabuleuses et un endroit où me baigner dans l’eau turquoise. C’était magique. Je recommande +++ cet endroit pour y séjourner. Le seul hic est l’absence de wifi et l’absence de réseau à la casita. il faut être dans leur maison pour y avoir accès avec le wifi. Cela aide au ressourcement et à déconnecter par contre 😊. Je pouvais venir quand je voulais.

If you are like me, always looking for views and sunsets don’t think twice! This comfortable little mountain home has by far the best views we have found so far in Monteverde. We usually head out at sunset time looking for a good spot but this stay we spent every evening watching the spectacular and ever changing panorama from our own front porch. Super comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Would like to add Waze will get you to the lower gate (search Casa del sol, Unnamed road). Just continue on the unpaved road and you will get there! Village is called Altos de Cebadilla.

We absolutely loved this place. It is well maintained and has everything you need. It feels like home. The woodwork in the house is so beautiful. The property is gorgeous and has trails to explore. Carolina and Manuel arranged to get some specially requested food for our stay. They had the food there for our arrival which was so helpful. Manuel took us on an awesome night hike. Carolina’s husband also gave us a tour of the property too. Carolina and her family really go out of their way to make this a welcoming place. They grow amazing coffee on the property which we really enjoyed. They also shared their garden veggies and the bananas. We stayed 4 days and wished we had stayed longer. We found it easy to go into Monteverde for activities like coffee tours, cloud forest, animal sanctuary el Tigre waterfall, etc. There are some great restaurants close by the house and of course in monteverde too. We enjoyed ordering homemade empanadas from cafe Horizonte for breakfast.

Pura vida at its max. Pure relaxation, comfort, safety. Zeidy’s food absolute perfection, the kids kept saying it wasn’t even real, calling it dream food. Pool is bigger than what the pictures show, beach wonderful, restaurant down the road a neat little touch for a dinner. We got horses and massages right at the house. The team is fantastic and Jose was wonderful to line it all up. Our private driver that Jose arranged was just wonderful and accommodating to any needs. We would give 10 stars if we could, just like other reviews. Stay here. Or don’t, which will clear up more space in the calendar for us to come back :) :)

Nous étions 6 personnes dont 2 enfants, pour un séjour de 4 jours. Tout s'est bien passé. nous avons particulièrement aimé la piscine, le calme du parc arboré, fleuri et particulièrement soigné, les animaux, l'allée et le sentier de promenade dans la forêt.. Eduardo, le gardien, était gentil et nous a aidé quand nous en avions besoin. Bref, nous avons adoré notre séjour.

Excellent location and views! Ronald and Christopher were more than welcoming and even provided different excursions. We highly recommend this place!

We have stayed at Casa Isabelita multiple times. It is always so peaceful. We hope to stay again.

Had a wonderful stay! House was beautiful and well-decorated, loved the outdoor showers in each bathroom. Kitchen was well-stocked. Even the housekeeper, who came twice during our stay, was wonderful and even brought us home-cooked food one evening. Leticia was very helpful with providing local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed.

This place was absolutely perfect for what we needed for our family of 4. Our boys are teenagers and were fine sleeping in the room separate from the house. Everything was as expected and communication was great. Views were gorgeous as described. One of our most favorite stays in Costa Rica.

La casa es preciosa, tal cual se ve en las fotos, es una zona tranquila, la atención por parte de los anfitriones fue excelente, siempre obtuvimos una respuesta rápida a nuestras consultas, todo muy limpio, las instrucciones para el acceso muy claras, todo funcionaba perfecto, la recomiendo 100%, la pasamos muy bien!

Very nice home in Playa Grande. Kitchen very well equipped. Owner and management team really reactive and helpful. Nice cooking class held directly in the house.

I work remote and took my work to the mountains. I stayed at this hotel for a whole month. The mountains are beautiful and amazing to wake up to every morning. The sunrises and star gazing on this mountain was phenomenal. The fruitful trees that the monkeys have to climb daily was so inspiring to watch how God provides to all species. The sounds of the birds singing in the jungle was a great experience for my morning coffee. And last but not least the amazing staff here! I am blessed to have found this wonderful place to stay for a month! The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Staff responded timely and very helpful. Great WiFi connectivity, electricity worked well, plenty of hot water. You will need a 4x4 vehicle or a taxi that provides it. Beaches are nearby and the culture was great to visit and explore. I see why this area specifically is the blue zone. Pura vida lives in this mountain top. Definitely recommend. Can’t wait to visit again. Glamping!!

We were a group of 8 people spending a week together for the first time. We had an amazing time and loved ‘our’ house and location. The presence of our housekeeper (Fresia) was undeniably the greatest benefit, and we are very grateful for her attention and responsiveness. Between Jennifer and Fresia, we felt cared for and heard. Both responded with speed and effectiveness and we were so grateful! Loved the area…Playa Grande and Tamarindo did not disappoint!!! Thank you Jennifer!

Rosi's place is the best! We had a wonderful time in the area. We saw Tucans and parrots flying by and a surprise Tapir when we were eating at the nearby brewery. Definitely would stay again

One of the most beautiful locations, the view over the lake is simply stunning. Magical sunsets. Location is a 10. Super quiet and peaceful, many birds come close to the house and I found it a true delight to hear them sing through the morning. House is spacious, beds are comfortable. Sheets are clean and soft. Kitchen is well equipped. Terrace is just a lovely place to hang out.

Simple, calme, au milieu de la nature Parfait

House is on a dairy farm, cozy and comfortable. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking, thank you very much. You do need to buy your food before you go since it is a little remote. There is someone working in the middle of the night next to the house and that might bother you if you are a light sleeper. One of the bathroom does not have hot water at the time and it seems common that kitchen does not have hot water. We are ok since there is another bathroom has warm enough water for shower.

There aren’t words for how magical Olingo is. The previous reviews regarding birding are accurate. The montezuma nests are really cool. The trails lead straight into the actual forest where there is one particularly large ficus. Everything in the home itself seems practically new. W/D work very well and you have every other amenity you could need, including local, eco-friendly toiletries. The beds were very comfortable and linens pristine white. In the evenings, rooms were comfortable with only the ceiling fan, but standing fans are provided as well. Evening temperatures were in the low 60s or below. Road is rough, but wouldn’t require 4WD. We honestly can’t wait to get back again and bring family to stay in the other units.

This was a beautiful place to stay at! If you love to be at a cottage during the summer, this place is definitely for you. The host and his family were super sweet individuals, and always provided great tips when we encountered them. For families with kids, this place would be amazing as it is spacious, has a mini pool and a playground.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house was so clean and spacious. The views from the balconies were amazing and I miss them already! The swimming pool was awesome. It was walking distance to two beaches and several restaurants. We especially enjoyed Reparito. Such a wonderful quiet location.
