Cabin holiday rentals in Guanacaste Province

This Airbnb was a gem, tucked away in the beautiful mountains. Absolutely stunning, extremely clean, very accommodating, and overall a fantastic experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We would recommend this Airbnb to anyone staying in Monteverde. Close enough to town, yet feels like there is no one around for miles. The road to get there was insane, but all of the roads in Costa Rica seem to be that way! 4x4 recommended 100%. Monkey’s made a visit, right on our deck and toucans were flying around. Super cool. Will visit again someday!!!

This was the perfect oasis we didn’t realize we needed until we were there. The accommodations were lovely & comfortable, but the property was bird-watching heaven for us!! (We also saw cows, wild hogs, steer, skinks/lizards, and friendly neighborhood dogs and cats among other animals). It was awesome!! The bed was comfortable, ac perfect & shower was heavenly! We also enjoyed the hot tub & picnic table several times & they were great amenities. The property was easy to find, clean, well appointed, we felt safe & absolutely loved our stay!! There are several good restaurants/dining options nearby as well. We’d stay again in a heart beat! Thanks for letting us stay, Wendy!!

The place is a little scary to get to. Youre on top of a cliff/ hill. It makes sense given the view. Youre definitely paying for the view. It's breath taking. Jacuzzi never really got hot for me but he did warn me that he had just turned on prior to my arrival. I only stayed 1 night. The roof is a typical metal costa rican roof so when it rained it was loud but it put me right to sleep. I accidentally let critters (butterflies and moths) into the house as the sliding door was left open but there were no bugs prior to that. Bed was comfy and the shower pressure was nice and hot. Would recommended.

Jade Cabin is really nice, the jacuzzi is a plus definitely, you just need to keep in mind that you will have a lot of insects around due to the location of the cabin, we don’t mind, but someone might.

I spoke mostly with Mario and his brother. They were amazing. The place is beautiful! Amazing view of the mountains at sunset and stars at night!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin in Monteverde. Alexander, the host, was incredibly responsive, helpful, and understanding, making me feel right at home. The cabin was spotless, and the seclusion made it feel like a peaceful retreat. The home was pristine, and the surroundings were just breathtaking. The sunsets and sunrises were absolutely stunning, and we couldn't have asked for a better environment to relax and unwind. I can't rave about this place enough. Highly recommended!

At the beginning we arrived at night and honestly I kind of freaked out because it was in the middle of the forest completely dark but in the morning when I waked up everything looked so pretty, we had the chance to see an armadillo, rabbits and a lot of beetles. The chalet was really clean and cozy. If you have the chance to stay there for a night do it you will love the sunset from the bedroom.

This cabin is so special. Relaxation just takes over your body from the minute you enter the property. The caretaker and his wife are amazing, too. They really look out for you and make sure you have all that you need. Definitely take Louisa up on preparing your meals- the food is delicious 😋

J’ai beaucoup aimé mon séjour à la casita. C’est rudimentaire mais fidèle à la description. Ça été un lieu de ressourcement pour moi. Le lieu est un peu compliqué à trouver: il faut se rendre proche avec les coordonnés GPS puis suivre les indications des hôtes indiqués dans les spécifications et alors: il n’y aura pas de problème. J’ai passé un superbe moment avec Andy et Angy: j’ai même soupé avec eux et ils ont été très accueillants. Le déjeuner était exquis et j’ai dégusté avec plaisir leurs produits faits maison et ce qu’ils cultivent avec passion. Ils m’ont fait d’excellents suggestions d’itinéraire et j’ai pu découvrir des routes fabuleuses et un endroit où me baigner dans l’eau turquoise. C’était magique. Je recommande +++ cet endroit pour y séjourner. Le seul hic est l’absence de wifi et l’absence de réseau à la casita. il faut être dans leur maison pour y avoir accès avec le wifi. Cela aide au ressourcement et à déconnecter par contre 😊. Je pouvais venir quand je voulais.

Todo excelente. Muy buena comunicación, la ubicación es muy estratégica, el lugar es tranquilo, tiene buen parqueo. Las instalaciones están muy cuidadas y limpias. Definitivamente volvería. Muchas gracias por todo.

Je loue souvent des airbnb et sincèrement celui la était vraiment génial!! Parfait si vous avez deux couples, petite famille ou juste 2-3 personnes. Nous étions 2 et nous avons eu notre intimité chacun. L’emplacement est super et l’hôte a vraiment été super flexible J’ai rien à dire de négatif !!

We stayed at Casa Mehiti for 7 days and had a lovely experience. The space was designed to create a feel of shady, peaceful nature and it provided all of that. We spent most days lounging during the mid day when the sun and heat were the strongest. We had early sunrise mornings and afternoons at the beach which was a short walk away (a few minutes). The surfing camp was a couple of minutes short walk as well as the neighbourhood Cafe. It is very quiet which we enjoyed. You may need transportation to go to a vegetable and fruit market as there is none walking distance. The sunsets are incredible. The huts were clean and the bed was really comfy. Jean, his friend and family were all incredibly friendly and a pleasure to have around. We were greeted with welcome drinks in the fridge. Jean offered help and assistance wherever we needed. We got to see monkeys playing in the trees and different kinds of birds. What a lovely place for a relaxing holiday. The beach was perf for surfing.

Tres Jolie cabane au milieu de la nature et d’un petit village complètement isolé. Il faut effectivement une voiture 4*4 pour y arriver! On y a entendu des singes hurleurs et vu des singes araignées et des écureuils dans les arbres! Entendu plein d’oiseaux mais pas vu de toucans . L’aménagement est simple mais très fonctionnel! Bien placé pour la marche du Rio Celeste! Merci pour l’organisation et le partage de votre petit nid.

Mathi's place is gorgeous! If you're looking for a peaceful trip, this is your place! When you walk up the hill to get to the space, you feel a sensation of openness, surrounded by beautiful nature. When you arrive, you're greeted by beautiful views in a gorgeous, spacious, private and luminous wooden cabin that blends perfectly with the nature. I totally recommend this place to anyone that loves nature and to disconnected from the city and your routines in order to reconnect with yourself. Thanks for absolutely everything Mathi! 🙏

We had an incredible week at Jardín de los Mangos in Lagunilla, Costa Rica. My wife, our toy poodle Ruby, and I loved exploring the 20 acres of nature—we spotted monkeys, iguanas, parrots, bats, and chickens. We even enjoyed being in the company of their friendly dog, Yogi. The swimming pool was perfect for a refreshing midday dip, and the brand-new cabin had everything we needed. From the poolside gas BBQ and pool table to the washer and dryer, every detail was thoughtfully provided. The bed was super comfortable, the pillows were fresh, and the air conditioning kept the cabin cool all day. We cooked plenty of meals, relaxed with Netflix, and sipped Costa Rican coffee on the porch each morning. Avery was an amazing host, always available when we had questions. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this hidden gem!

Olimme vain nopealla välipysähdyksellä, mutta paikka oli siisti ja sieltä löytyi kaikki mitä tarvitsimme. Myös vastaanotto oli erittäin lämmin.

We loved our stay at this special place in Monteverde! We were left some beautiful fresh eggs and told to help ourselves to the awesome herbs and veggies in the garden. Such a gorgeous view and lovely space perfect for catching up on sleep while exploring the awesome area.

José and Dorita were very kind, we had a wonderful time exploring Monteverde from their location. We are avid birders and knocked a few goals off our list from the back porch. It is privately located, but we were in walking distance to a small grocery store and several great restaurants for dinner. The house itself is beautiful, with wonderful skylights and big windows for viewing the nature outside. Would recommend!

Mariliana’s place was one of the most beautiful homes I’ve stayed in, ever! The views when you step inside the property are breathtaking and the house is pristine - beautifully furnished, well kept, and well stocked. Look out for lots of amazing birds including beautiful toucans and impressive birds of prey flying around outside. Mariliana was a fantastic host and super accommodating to our needs. Would recommend to anyone staying in Monteverde looking for a little slice of paradise.

Con una ubicación privilegiada, el chalet de Andréi es acogedor y te hace sentir como en casa. Las vistas son impresionantes, te puedes aislar de todo y pasarte horas en la tina o contemplar el lago y hasta las estrellas, mientras asas en la parrilla. Es impresionante lo bien equipada que está. Esperamos la oportunidad de regresar.

Auf der Terasse zu sitzen und die vorbeiziehenden Wolken und den Nebel zu beobachten war fantastisch. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Man kann zahlreiche Kolibris beobachten und bekommt vielleicht Besuch von Rambo, dem Hahn. Die Ziegen hatten gerade Nachwuchs. Adela ist sehr gastfreundlich und ich hatte das Glück, von Ihr eine Führung am Sendero Pacifico und durch Santa Elena und Monteverde bekommen zu haben. In langen Gesprächen habe ich sehr viel über Costa Rica gelernt, schön, dass Adela sehr gut Englisch und Deutsch spricht. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, wie auch das Grundstück. Das Wandergebiet um den Sendero Pacifico kann ich nur empfehlen, natürlich kann man zahlreiche Reservate und die Nationalparke Santa Elena und Monteverde schnell erreichen. Ich war Ende Mai dort und das Wetter war sehr angenehm, nicht so heiß, wie an den Küsten. Wem es zu warm werden sollte, kann sich im nahegelegenen Fluss (sehr malerisch), abkühlen. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung!

Casa Colibri was lovely! The most well-behaved little dogs we’ve ever met! The surrounding area was absolutely stunning. We did days where we just travelled the gravel roads and were just in awe! If birds are your thing, there are plenty! The owls eluded me but Merlin heard two different ones. We were mostly gone all day but loved the back deck morning and evening. Wonderful hot shower! No need for AC when we were there as the beautiful fresh air blew right through the casa and cooled down in minutes when we got home! Kitchen was well stocked. Hosts were friendly and happy to help! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Family of 5 traveling (3 kids). This place is absolutly amazing. The view, the food and the hosts (Susanne and Javier) makes this Airbnb one of the best places I've been to.
