we absolutely loved our stay! mr.bob was very friendly we had the pleasure of meeting him and he told us some great facts and history about the place. the lake was peaceful and beautiful to wake up too. we can't wait until we come back! ❤️

This was my second stay at Shane's cabin on the lake, and it has quickly become one of my favorite places to stay. While it’s off the beaten path, that’s part of the charm—it makes for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This was my first time visiting during this season, and there were quite a few mosquitoes, so if you plan to spend time outdoors, be sure to come prepared. Other than that, there’s very little to complain about. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook, just make sure to pick up groceries on your way in. The living area is cozy and comfortable, and considering how remote the location is, the WiFi connection is surprisingly strong. One last bonus is the washer and dryer in the cabin, which is great to have during longer stays. I’ll definitely be back again if it's available in the winter, and I truly can't recommend it enough.
