This home had everything we expected! Victor and his bother were very responsive which is always a plus! The home was exactly as described and if we return to the area we’ll definitely reserve this place again!

I am originally from Richmond and, when returning to see family and friends, have stayed at nearly all of Richmond's AirBnBs over the years, including multiple month-long stays in Matthew's guest house. Given my needs, Matthew's is now only place I will stay if it's available, for the following reasons: 1) Matthew and his team are exemplary: highly professional (e.g. always quick to resolve minor issues that naturally come up in rental properties) and exceptionally caring (e.g., checking on us after we received medical care, during winter storms, etc.). The unit is extremely clean (thanks to a superb cleaning crew) and you will be impressed with how comfortable and private the unit is. No contact with neighbors, though they are pleasant/quiet. Totally safe for women solo travelers. Excellent location in Richmond - easy to get to highway, Fan/Carytown, downtown, VCU, University of Richmond, WestEnd, etc. We have already made our next reservation here. Don't hesitate to book yours.

I truly enjoyed my stay! The unit was just as described: peaceful, exceptionally clean, and stocked with all the amenities you could need. Nelson was an excellent host, and the location was perfect. If you’re visiting Richmond, VA, I highly recommend booking this lovely place. I travel 70% of the year for work, and this stay was definitely one of my favorites. Top-tier experience!

Nice one bedroom apartment in a convenient location, minutes to anywhere in Richmond. Everything was very clean, and modern. Smart TVs, dishwasher, washer and dryer in the unit are great amenities. Pet friendly too!
