Holiday rentals with lake access in Galveston

We had a great time. Excellent communication from the host. Everything was easy and smooth. We really liked the location. Would definitely stay here again!

Wendi was a great host. We liked how everything was labeled inside the house! Our families loved the extra amenities she included, such as beach chairs, ping pong table, and cornhole boards! The neighborhood was peaceful and an easy walk to the beach! A couple of things we noticed that were out of Wendi’s control were the mosquitos (so make sure you pack bug spray), and there was an excess of seaweed on the beach for the time of year we visited. We would definitely book this house again if visiting the Galveston area!

Great stay! The only thing would be the hot tub chemicals were quite strong but they quickly got them leveled out for us and we couldn't have been happier! wonderful place and will definitely be booking again next time we come down!

The house was just as it looks, beautiful with lots of rooms and bathrooms for everyone. Would rent again. Minor issues found were in the kitchen area. We did not find a can opener, although there was a bottle & wine opener. Needs to have better knives. The ones there are not sharp. The other issue is not being able to park in the driveway. I personally do not like leaving my car in the street. Other than that the home is great. I really appreciated the communication and allowance for personal family issue discussed. Michael's home was beautiful, plenty of space, everything you might need, he was a very helpful host and I had an amazing time with my family that I don't get to see very much. I really appreciate this host !

Paul was a great host and his home met all of our groups needs. The pool was beautiful and very restful after a long day of soccer games. We would definitely stay here again!

The Crab shack was just right for our little getaway. The location is great and it still feels private! We were able to rent a golf cart and drive it to the boardwalk and a lot of the other local attractions and eating places.

This Airbnb was amazing!! Everything looked exactly like the pictures and place was extremely clean. I recommend stay here if you are considering booking.

We loved our stay and the location. Everything was wonderful. The apartment complex is very nice. It looked like it was freshly painted, very bright and colorful. We were attending an event at TAMUG and the trip over to pelican Island was quick and convenient.

This apartment was central to both NASA and the boardwalk. Didn’t take us more than 15 min to get anywhere we wanted to go. But I do think it’s misleading to say this unit is waterfront. You can’t see the water and have to walk past at least 40 other apartments to get to the water. Yes it’s NEAR the water but if you want to be waterfront this is not the unit for you. We had come from two other truly water front Airbnb’s before this one so was bummed about that. The apartment is older and it’s on a super busy road (the tv had to be on blaring to hear over the road noise) but we didn’t struggle sleeping so that’s good. It rained the whole time we were there and still had plenty to do in the area. We did indoor pickle ball, bowling & batting cages. I think for an inexpensive NEAR water apartment this is a good choice. But if you want ON water don’t book this unit. Host was super responsive and allowed an early check in which we appreciated a lot!

Really enjoyed the stay. Was really convenient. Was able to walk to moody gardens within a 8 minute walk. Host was super responsive. The pictures did no justice. I enjoyed the view of landscaping around the apaprtment. Really peaceful. Only thing I would recommend is making sure the tenants mail is not laying around on the counters upon arrival. I was here for a conference and my mother came with me but she did the “tourist scene”. Everything was perfectly set up and centrally located for my conference (within walking distance) and fun places to visit for my mom while I was busy.

What a beautiful space! I absolutely loved the view of the waves crashing on the shore. The swimming pool was the highlight of our trip. Kitchen was adequately stocked and easy to prepare meals in. The condo is recently renovated with new furniture and appliances. Plenty of space for two couples and our kids. Thank you Donna for a wonderful stay! 10/10 would definitely here stay again.

Tracy’s place was everything I hoped it would be. Very peaceful . very clean and welcoming. Whatever you may need in the kitchen, it’s there. We spent a lot of our time sitting out on the balcony watching the fish jump out and the birds flying by. Perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon reading and evening night cap. Great location for visiting family. Only 10 minutes away, if that. Next visit, we will stay there again. We found our home away from home. Tracy is friendly and quick to respond . She is an excellent host!

I love this home away from home. I stayed for 6 weeks and it was wonderful. Paul is very respectful and doesn't bother you at home. He had a small puzzle collections, which I loved! I also added a few to his collections. I would highly recommend his place he has everything you need and more. Very quiet and private.
