Honeysuckle Blue was a fantastic rental!! Beautiful, large living space and well stocked kitchen. Easy walk to the beach and multiple balconies were great for early morning coffee or late night drink!! Everything you could need for pets was provided and a cute welcome gift for kiddos!! Appreciated all the extra beach towels!!! We were offered an early check in which was fantastic!! We would definitely stay again.

The home was as described with easy access to the beach and a very comfortable backyard and pool. The balcony at night was relaxing and had comfortable outdoor furniture to sit on. Beach gear and toys are located in the garage for you to use. The owner is very responsive and minor issues were resolved quicker than I expected. The house has normal wear and tear for a beach house but you can tell that they are constantly working on upgrades. The check in/out instructions were probably the best we've ever received and even included videos.

We had a wonderful family get together in this lovely house with a view of the beach and a glimmer of the Pier at night Ample room in the open floor plan to accommodate 8 adults and 3 children. The kitchen was as described and easy to manuever so that prep, cooking, buffet style serving, and clean up was not a chore. We ate the majority of our meals at the house. Bedrooms were as described with comfortable size rooms and full bathrooms, except for the bunkroom that had a 1/2 bath. Although the bunkroom is on the top floor, we brought a baby monitor to insure safety. Loved having a washer and dryer available. The beach was accessible as described and the house included the beach wagons, chairs, umbrella and beach toys. A perk when car trunk space is limited. There's plenty to do in Galveston and the property location makes it easy to enjoy the city. I must give kudos to the hostess, Anna. She was responsive and proactive from the moment I booked the property until our stay ended.

Plus++. Beds, location, cleanliness, kitchen, elevator, beach chairs, safety, layout of rooms, ice maker in kitchen, a/c. The view was awesome. But be aware…all beach chairs are low surf chairs, if older adults need the higher seating, bring your own. There are not any umbrellas or canopies for sun protection, so bring your own. Elevator need both doors closed to operate. Throw blankets in living area would have been nice. Would stay again. Definitely a place to enjoy the beach views and family time if your $ resources permit. The construction noise was not a problem for us. resources

The Purple Sandcastle was great!! I Took my mom for her 66th birthday. The house was fantastic and for my mom and aunt the elevator was why we picked this one as my aunt had just recently had a hip replacement and my mom had one awhile back. The beach was very well maintained. This time of year there is a lot of seaweed and the other beaches were covered but the private beach here was excellent. We would definitely be coming back here. The hosts are also very responsive and very nice.

Kelly’s oasis of a home was absolutely perfect. My children and grand kids enjoyed the visit and had plenty to do. The backyard and porch were amazing. The guys played pool the kids enjoyed swimming. Most of all I was comfortable and felt secured with my surroundings. She left a beautiful sand bucket with treats for the kids to welcome us! She was an awesome host! Visiting again in August! Thank you Kelly for a lovely vacation.

Beautiful home inside. Clean, beautiful bathrooms, kitchen, and the pool. The downside is the stairs everyday and especially with luggage. Its location is also far from restaurants and downtown, you spend at least 30 minutes drive to and at least 30 minutes back. Overall if you are looking to be out to pier and downtown with restaurants this might be too far and expensive stay. If you’re looking to relax and stay in place this might be pricey but perfect for seclusion.

This was the second summer in a row that we stayed at this beach house. It works great for our family. It is spacious with enough bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas to feel comfortable with our family of 9. The boardwalk over the dunes makes it easy to get on the beach. The outside deck has plenty of comfortable chairs and loungers to sit on. Look forward to staying there again!

This is a great place for larger or multiple families to stay together. The house is wonderful and has a great layout for all the guests to have privacy, or to gather and be together. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, but still only a 5 min golf cart ride to the beach. Thank you for such a great location!

This was a great place to stay. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you’ll need. The half bath is actually an outside shower stall for washing off sand, not toilet. It was super handy as we like to keep a clean floor in the house. The fridge and panty do have many items that guests have left… some of which are repetitive (5 mustards, etc). While I appreciated the communal items, it made it difficult to store our items in the fridge but I definitely see the benefit and sentiments. The beds are SO COMFORTABLE!!! We had a slow drain in the master bath and Thomas sent a plumber first thing! No issues afterwards! We had a party of 5 adults and felt comfortable. Great view of the beach from the deck and literally less than a two minute walk to the beach. About 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Galveston, just what we wanted. We would stay here again!!! Thank you for sharing your house with us!!!

We loved our stay at The White House. This historic home is absolutely gorgeous! The owners were very friendly and always responded quickly. It slept 9 people comfortably. Lots to do within walking distance. Sugar & Rye across the street was a delicious restaurant with friendly staff. We ended up eating there once for lunch and once for dinner. We definitely reccomend the beautiful AirBNB!

Check in was easy, home was beautiful! One master bedroom downstairs, the bunk room, queen bedroom and other master bedroom are on the second floor. 5 min drive to the beach from the house. Pool was a great size and allowed our kids to play and enjoy without constantly asking to go to the beach. There was a Keurig there, everything you’d need for cooking/dining as well. If you’re traveling with a dog like I was, the fence is easy for them to escape but if they are on a leash- no problem! Host was helpful and very responsive to questions! Overall, I’ll probably book here again for our next stay in Galveston!

This beach house was the perfect stay for our summer family get away! Plenty of space for entertaining in then kitchen, living room and dining room! This location is right in the beach so it was easy to go back and forth for snacks, drinks and restroom breaks. The host Levi was so kind and accommodating. He made sure our stay was absolutely smooth!

Gabe was quick to respond to my messages and questions! This house had great features, plenty of space & beds, a nice outdoor space, outdoor shower and accommodating parking! Would definitely stay here again! Was perfect for our small group work retreat!

Wow! What an incredible place and an incredible host. We've stayed at over 30 Airbnbs and this is the only host that has gone this above and beyond - stocking the kitchen in anticipation of our Thanksgiving feast, a doggie basket with toys for our pups, a gorgeous pecan dessert and yummy pasta/sauce on the kitchen table, a zoom call to welcome us and to find out what else we needed (she ordered us more kitchen utensils & a fan from Target). The home feels like a home. Super clean, lots of character - high ceilings, lovely woodwork, lots of light, a sweet fully fenced in yard, and large comfy bedrooms. There are two bathrooms but everyone ends up using 1 upstairs as their main bathroom since it's the one with a shower - not an issue for us just FYI. The neighborhood is super walkable - so many gorgeous homes on every block. Easy to get to the Strand, beach and Broadway. Two thumbs way up for people with or without dogs! Simply amazing. Wendi was a great host. We liked how everything was labeled inside the house! Our families loved the extra amenities she included, such as beach chairs, ping pong table, and cornhole boards! The neighborhood was peaceful and an easy walk to the beach! A couple of things we noticed that were out of Wendi’s control were the mosquitos (so make sure you pack bug spray), and there was an excess of seaweed on the beach for the time of year we visited. We would definitely book this house again if visiting the Galveston area!

3 moms stayed with our 4 kids. The place was perfect because the kids had a spacious room with a large bathroom & us 3 moms each had our own space. The house was stocked with what we needed for our short stay & everything was nice & clean.

Amazing beach house! Walking distance from the house to the beach! The back porch was so relaxing! Fishing right in the back yard was priceless!!! Will definitely be back! Love the house and the area!

Pool was amazing. Very quiet neighborhood but so close to everything! Every time I thought I forgot something I found it there.

This house is AWESOME!! and Ms. Mandy is a GREAT host!! The only small issue we had was the hot tub would not get that warm. However, my family and friends had a WONDERFUL time!! We will love to stay here again!!!

loved our stay. the house easily accommodated 3 generations with different interests. the bedrooms were a good size and the open living/dining area made it easy to gather. the hot tub was a huge hit with everyone and the outdoor shower made it easy to get the sand off. Great house!

Loved this house. Perfect for kids- thoughtful amenities. Comfortable furniture and beds- I liked how there were children's books and board games there. It was very close to our familiar favorites in Galveston. Would definitely stay here again!
