Beach house holiday rentals in Galveston

Host was extremely easy to work with. The house was located in a great area, close to restaurants, entertainment, and the beach.

We had a wonderful stay. The beach front access and view were amazing and the location is private and quiet - perfect for a family vacation .

Our family really enjoyed our beach vacation at Mermaid Manor. Shannon was an excellent host. Always responsive and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The beach was wonderful and so relaxing. Highly recommend.

I feel that it’s overpriced, but it’s the memories that we make on why I continue to stay. I believe this was our fifth time staying here; my son took me the first time, now I go without him) Always peaceful and relaxing. We go mostly for the fishing pier. It has all the amenities that you need. The surrounding cities close by, with lots of choices for restaurants. Patrick is always available when I text him. We will be back.

Our stay at Holly’s place was awesome. The home was exactly like the photos depicted along with all the amenities to make our stay extremely comfortable and memorable.

This was our second time staying here. It is our go to airbnb when staying in Galveston, close to the Seawall. Will stay here again in the future! We enjoy the pool & hot tub.

This place is fantastic! The house is right on the beach! She has lots of amenities and decorations. The house stayed cool with hot temperatures. 6 beds 2 are queen. 4 are twin. two bathrooms. Big balcony facing the beach to watch the sunrise and sunset.

My family and I enjoyed 5 days at the Pelican Lookout. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, swimming and making lots of memories. The many amenities allowed us to enjoy the property and spend quality time together watching sunrises, sunsets and fishing all night.

We had the best time at your place! The house was beautiful, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kids had a blast and didn’t want to leave! Such a peaceful spot and a perfect little getaway. Thank you for being a great host. We’d definitely love to come back!

We had a great stay. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, which made for a seamless and comfortable stay. The location is good – easy access to the beach and it was convenient to have coffee shops and grocery stores just a stone's throw away. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and would happily book again!

The house had everything we needed to have a good and relaxing time. Enough room and activities at the house no need to leave. The pool and jacuzzi helped relaxation time while cooking on the grill and enjoying a round of pool.

Perfect place for our trip. House was exactly what we expected and more. Very comfortable, large bathrooms, kitchen had plenty of supplies and the pool was great for relaxing. Philip was very responsive and we would definitely go back.

Perfect!!! Our family of three adults and our little rescue dog felt right at home here!! The house is squeaky clean, beautifully decorated, has a fully equipped kitchen and the backyard is PARADISE! We hardly left the house. Enjoyed the pool so much! Had fun chilling with board games and prepared several wonderful meals. Beds were super comfortable! Haven’t slept that well in ages! David was a terrific host. Checked in on us and also responded immediately when I asked where to buy fresh seafood to prepare. And yes, Katie’s was great! Thank you again! We WILL be back!!

Love this air bnb! The history of it was neat. The pool was amazing and a big hit! And the beds were extremely comfortable.

First impression: how cute this place is! It’s tucked away in a quiet, safe neighborhood and just steps from a park with a playground—perfect if you can even convince the kids to leave the amazing pool that kept them happily entertained for hours. The house itself was spotless and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were super comfy, and we all slept great. Another big plus: it’s pet-friendly! This house truly was the cherry on top of a perfect family getaway. We’re already looking forward to coming back and staying here again!

Erika was very responsive and her place was just as described. She even went out of her way to leave a special surprise for us since we were celebrating our anniversary.

Absolutely perfect, everything was accompanied for from the privacy to the environment and amenities. Definitely made our trip worth while!

Great weekend getaway for couples. Open and airy while also being private. Very interesting and eclectic decor. Such a fun place to stay! The host was informative and easy to reach. I would recommend taking a smaller vehicle as the driveway is in an alley and it’s pretty tight squeeze unless you’re experienced with backing into tight spaces. If you’re staying for more than a day or so pack beach towels and a hair dryer. Those were the only two accommodations missing though. The only regrets I have were not using the hot tub enough and forgetting to sign the sketch book!

If you’re looking for a beautiful place to get away, look no further! When we stumbled upon this home, we immediately fell in love. I have to say, it is quite lovelier in real life than it is online. The house is so beautifully decorated and has every amenity, including a charming terrace for morning coffee or a quiet patio for evening barbecues. Just a short drive to the beach yet quiet and relaxing. We absolutely loved our stay! Ashley is an incredibly kind, thoughtful, and responsive host. We didn’t want to leave— and we can’t wait to come back!

This house is a gem. Beautiful house, perfect location in a quiet neighborhood, a very short walk to the beach and to shops and restaurants. Great amenities, very clean and feels like home. Beautiful porches in the front and back. Host are extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and will be going back.
