Really lovely accommodation with great views. The host was very responsive and was super helpful when we had a bit of an emergency. Highly recommended.

Tolle Unterkunft, sehr nette und hilfreiche Gastgeber. Vieles wie Duschgels, Holz für ein BBQ, Handtücher etc. wurden bereits von den Gastgebern zur verfügung gestellt und hat so vieles vereinfacht. Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen und ist eine absolute Empfehlung.

We had a fantastic time on the island. In addition to the nature that makes Madeira so fascinating, we were also able to spend some very relaxing days in our accommodation. Everything was just like in the pictures, so we could start our vacation with a great feeling. The accommodation was modern, clean and very luxurious with a pool and the number of rooms, each with its own bathroom. And who wouldn't want to wake up with a view of the sea? Wonderful. Henrique was also easy to contact if we had any questions and check-in with the key box was very simple. There is a small supermarket in this small town if you need anything. Otherwise, Calheta is not far away with larger shopping facilities. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, although the accommodation with its large kitchen and outdoor grill is of course also perfect for a meal. Thank you for a wonderful time in Madeira, we'd love to come back!

Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Insgesamt sehr gepflegt und modern eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Marco hatte gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und war immer erreichbar. Der Ausblick vom Balkon auf das Meer ist wunderschön, zum verweilen oder für den ersten Kaffee perfekt. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Het uitzicht vanuit de tuin was werkelijk prachtig. Het huisje is zo dicht bij de zee dat je in je slaapkamer de branding kon horen. Verder was het ontzettend stil. Een heerlijk zwembad en tuin met verschillende zitjes en ook ligbedden zodat je altijd kon kiezen waar je wilde zitten. Er was zelfs een BBQ!

Well what can I say about abor villa- By far the best air bnb we have ever stayed in. Absolutely exceptional and decorated beautifully, so artistic and clean and akin to a boutique hotel. Emma was a fantastic host, she made the whole stay exceptional for our young family. Personal touches such as a mini chair for our two year old with suitable cutlery, cups etc ready for us, even taking the trouble to remove the legs of the children’s bed so not too high from the ground. She provided a box of toys for our children and ensured staples were ready for us after a late flight so that the children had food and milk- something we whole heartedly appreciated. The position of the villa was ideal- close to the capital, excellent views , close to restaurants and local towns and ideally situated so easy to get to the northern sites of the island which really wasn’t far when renting a car. Emma was easily reachable and offered lots of recommendations. The pool and views exceptional, we will return!

Wir hatten wunderbare Tage in der Unterkunft und würden diese jeder Zeit wieder buchen. Es war alles vorhanden was man brauchte und sehr sauber.

Karol place is definitely a home away home, you relax soon as you step through the door. Very peaceful which is what we like. But also not far from anything. Communication with Karol was great. The lavada walks that start about 2 min up from the villa are definitely worth a stroll, one will take you to Panoest cafe and the other way to Bar Do Papagaio.

We absolutely loved our stay in Madeira! The property was incredibly clean—honestly one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. Everything was spotless and so well maintained. The welcome gifts were such a thoughtful touch—local produce that gave us a warm introduction to the island. The house had everything we needed, from great coffee to handy extras like Tupperware, which made day trips really convenient. The sunsets from the property were absolutely stunning—something we looked forward to every evening. The location was great for accessing shops and restaurants nearby, but we’d definitely recommend having a car to explore more of the island comfortably. All in all, a fantastic stay. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Kents apartment with a group of friends. Apartment was spacious with great views over Funchal. The apartment is around 10 minutes taxi drive or bus journey (takes a little longer) from the centre of Funchal or up to the tropical gardens at Monte. There is a little shop for essentials around 10 minutes walk away, just a step hill walk back up. Kent was an excellent communicator from first booking. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely clean villa with a great pool. Communication with the host was easy. Other reviewers have suggested that nearby roads were noisy - we didn't find this a problem. Is a little out of the centre of funchal but easily accessible by bus or taxi. Only concern was the €500 cash deposit requested on arrival. This is in the advert and we got it all back without a problem but we were nervous handing over so much cash outside the Airbnb platform. I have asked Airbnb to double check if this is within their website rules.

The property easily lives up to the description and the pictures. The houses are fully equipped, very nicely decorated and comfortable. The swimming pools offer stunning unobstructed views of the ocean during the day and of the sky at night. There are no road noises, the place is truly calm. Grocery stores are a few minutes away by car, as are restaurants. Numerous hikes can be found in the region. The host is very reactive and will provide many recommandations related to restaurants and activities. Renting both houses to two families is a great way to spend time together while also having some privacy. I would go back there without any hesitation.

Karine and her family have been super sweet and helpful. We were a family of 6 spanning several generations, and the house is perfect for this. Highly recommended. Everything was new and worked flawlessly. Best recommendations from Kenneth.

A casa está extremamente bem localizada, numa zona tranquila e com uma vista deslumbrante para o mar. É o local ideal para descansar e aproveitar a paisagem. A casa está equipada com tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia confortável e sem preocupações. Foi uma excelente experiência — recomendo vivamente!

Sehr empfehlenswert, da traumhafte Aussicht aufs Meer und Funchal. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Äusserst grosszügige Unterkunft mit viel Platz und Stauraum. Eigene Auffahrt mit gedecktem Parkplatz. Für uns zu zweit kostenmässog am oberen Limit, wir bereuen aber keine Sekunde, die letzten Tage/Nächte unserer Madeira Reise dort verbracht zu haben. João hat auf unsere Anreisezeit sehr flexibel reagiert, Danke dafür!

Nos hôtes, Jeanne et Cristiano, nous ont réservé un accueil chaleureux, avec des produits locaux à notre arrivée ! La maison est très bien située sur les hauteurs de Funchal, avec une vue incroyable sur l'océan (y compris depuis la douche italienne !). La piscine était très agréable (étant frileux, nous avons choisi de la chauffer), la cuisine parfaitement équipée, les chambres très spacieuses et confortables .... Nous avons aussi aimé la déco, les livres (notamment la collection de guides sur Madère en français !)... Tout était parfait, nous avons adoré notre séjour !

This is how AirBNB should be. The house is stacked with everything. How often are you in an Airbnb and they only have 6 plates? Here they have 20+, they have Great knives, tons of kitchenware, enough toilet paper, plenty of dishwasher tabs and also cleaner for the washing machine. Things you normally expect but somehow got lost in the making money machine Airbnb is now. Not here!! A absolute crazy welcome basket (have not had such a big one ever), friendly crew and absolute amazing place - can only recommend

Ons verblijf bij Philippe was echt fantastisch. Het uitzicht is prachtig, vanaf het balkon kijk je neer op Paul do Mar en je hoort de oceaan vanuit de kamer. Alles was aanwezig wat dit tot een perfect verblijf maakte voor ons. Het was super. Philippe gaf ons ook leuke en handige tips voor in de omgeving, van wandelroutes tot restaurants.

We loved the house, every room has a badroom. Great kitchen. We injoid the swimming pool and sauna. The communication with the LovelyStay was fast and easy.

Die Unterkunft war wie auf den Fotos zu sehen und im Beschreibungstext geschildert. Es war sauber und sehr modern. Wenn die Sonne scheint liegt der Pool perfekt und bietet eine nette Abkühlung. Gastgeberin Sonia war super nett und die Kommunikation war Klasse. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder! Wir waren zu zweit, aber die Unterkunft ist sicher auch für 4 Personen super.

Wir hatten eine sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr aufmerksam und haben uns mit tollen Kleinigkeiten überrascht. Unser kleines Parkproblem in der Garage wurde sofort gelöst. Tolle Dachterrasse mit Poolblick aufs Meer. Super Sauber und gute Betten!

Villa Gia is as stunning as the photos, with a stylish, spotless, and modern design. Henrique, the incredibly responsive host, met us for check-in, shared great local tips, and quickly resolved any minor issues. The driveway was no problem for our Mitsubishi ASX, making this a seamless and highly recommended stay!

Heerlijk huis. Compleet en veel privacy. Geen voorzieningen op loopafstand. Voor ons geen probleem, maar wel iets om rekening mee te houden. Het huis ligt ook hoog, wat zo een paar graden kan schelen. Als je hier verblijft, vergeet dan niet om te gaan eten in de Sunshine Pub&Grill. Een echte aanrader, zie ook reviews op Google.

L'accueil par Barbara était parfait, plein d'attentions et la Villa est parfaite pour 3 couples . Pour une première découverte de Madère l'accès à la Villa parait compliqué car les rues sont très pentues et la circulation délicate mais on s'y habitue assez vite. La Villa est très bien équipée et Barbara est pleine d'attentions : linge toilette / piscine / cadeau de bienvenue / nécessaire de toilette etc ... rien ne manquait . Notre hôte nous a dispensé des conseils pour les restaurants locaux, les visites etc... La piscine est chauffée moyennant supplément et est très agréable . La description de la Villa sur Booking est totalement conforme à la réalité de la Villa. Seuls l'accès très pentu et complexe la première fois et la circulation générale sur l'ile sont déroutants à l'arrivée. Nous avons (3 couples) passé un séjour merveilleux à la Villa . Je recommande sans restriction cette location.
