Villa holiday rentals in French Broad River

I really enjoyed my stay!

This place is amazing for group or family trips. Every room has a king size bed and private bathroom, which is almost impossible to find elsewhere, and we loved the giant kitchen table, which was big enough for family dinners and a puzzle or games. The hot tub was nice and clean and easy to use. The house is located at the top of a hill with a cute retail village at the base, just a short walk away, and downtown Asheville is a 10min drive. The only note I would have—and this is not necessarily a con at all, depending on what you’re looking for, but this location is not private or secluded at all. It’s on a populated cul de sac and the houses are close enough together to hear the neighbors talking, hanging out, or playing music on the porch next to you at regular volume. Again, this wasn’t an inconvenience for us in any way, we had a wonderful stay. Just figured it’s a nice to know for some people. We would absolutely book this location again for another family trip!

We loved our stay. We loved contributing to the economy in the recovery efforts of your charming city. Home met all of our needs. Very well appointed and comfortable. Easy to find. Lot of great things to do today close by.

It was good overall but it would be way better after construction would be done and I do not recommend grandparents to go because of walking on the hills, but other than that everything was amazing!! Place was clean and tidy, had hood communication with Hollie and the scenery and weather really helped us made the trip better..

Great place for everyone. Love that is dog friendly. Cozy and quiet. Super nice host. Brandi came to greet me at my arrival and chat with us for a while.🥰They responds to messages in less than 2 min😊. Thanks for everything Michael and Brandi it was an awesome experience. Clean with plenty of extra amenities. Great location next to the highway for easy access to different parts of town. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Definitely recommend and would return!

The Yonder crew were very accommodating to our crew while in the area for disaster relief work - we had a late check in and they made sure everything was in order before we arrived and assisted with any requests right away. The space was a welcome and relaxing retreat after work each day! I would highly recommend choosing this listing when in the area!

Ron and Martha were the perfect hosts for our family's Thanksgiving weekend. The house is stunning and the views breathtaking. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen which provided everything new needed to cook all weekend. Ron and Martha provided detailed directions and instructions for our arrival and parking and were super responsive to our questions. We look forward to being able to stay here again!

The photos really don’t do this place justice! Every room had its own private bathroom and shower except the Jack and Jill rooms which shared a bathroom and shower. The photos don’t show which rooms have which bathrooms but they all had their own basically which was great for our large group. The entire property and everything inside the house was very clean. There are two kitchens with fridges. The response and interactions I had with the host were great! She was so friendly and respectful and responsive the entire time. The property was very well kept. Plenty of room for a large group. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, very clean and well kept and private. It’s looks very old in the photos but feels like it’s brand new when you’re there. Also the bedrooms were very spacious. Excellent place to stay 10/10 on the list of AirBnbs we have all stayed at, not a single complaint from our entire group.

Awesome layout for a group of 4 or more!

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

7 Acres is one of the best places we have rented (airb&b/vrbo)! The house was very clean, spacious and well decorated. It literally had everything we needed. The setting is lovely and private and only a short drive to restaurants and activities in town. We had eleven people and there was still ample space for privacy if needed. Every couple and/or single had their own bedroom and bathroom, there are three large gathering spaces indoors plus two outdoor (one screened in and a deck) most with beautiful Mountain View’s. Highly recommended!

Wendy waited for us for check in at night and was always available when we needed something. The place was better than the pictures. Beautifull views and really clean. golf cart was fun and games room in clubhouse kept us entertained in rainy days. beautiful community and people

We used the Air BNBs as we were getting married across the street for all our friends to stay in and it was so nice and convenient. Clean, easy to accesss, convenient, and really great.

Such a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting. Waves of nostalgia in every nook and cranny of this house. Our family thoroughly enjoyed admiring the pictures, decorations, books and furniture! Preparing meals in the kitchen was an absolute treat. We have never stayed in such a well-equipped kitchen. The serving platters, cooking utensils, cookware and glassware were enjoyed by all! The home was clean and so peaceful. The fireplace was just icing on the cake! Everyone enjoyed our family trip and we hope to return!

This is such a great place for families who have kids and for adults, on their own. The view is spectacular! There are tons of activities: at the house, in the community and broader area. I especially appreciated the hot tub after the 17-mile bike ride on the Virginia Creeper Trail from Abingdon to Damascus. The kitchen is well supplied and will satisfy most home chefs. It is amazingly clean, especially considering pets are permitted. We look forward to future stays!

This is our second stay at Aramis's home. It was just as lovely the second time around. We were in town for a horse show at TIEC. The rental is comfortable and feels like a home away from home. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. Aramis is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and goes the extra mile providing snacks and breakfast foods. We will definitely stay again!

A fun family spot!

Adam, our host was incredible. Directions were spot on, and helpful. Loved the stay and the place. Perfect for our weekend at Beech Mountain. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to coming back again soon!

Beautiful house, well equipped. We had a great family thanksgiving.

Excellent spot for a large group. Dock spot was perfect. Location on lake was great. Pool location was right next to condo so you can sit on balcony and watch kids. They do not sell gas at this resort. Tiki hut was in same cove and was awesome. In the next cove over Springs resort has the famous Dock Burger and gas if you need to fill up. Burger was excellent. Call ahead if you want burger ready by the time you boat over. Balcony does face afternoon/evening Sun so if you want shade you will have to bring your own patio umbrella. Owner does not supply but has patio table that has hole in center. Can’t remember if it has umbrella base

From the other reviews, it seems like everyone gets a different unit based on how the resort fulfills the reservation. That being said, our family of four (two little kids 5&7) LOVED staying at the Westgate resort. We used the waterpark each day, and that helped make this AirBNB totally worth it. We also stayed on top of the mountain...which was amazing. Played mini-golf for free. Quick access to Gatlinburg for dinner and to the mountains for the hikes. Clean units, kids slept on sofa couch, we had private bedroom. Kitchen to make pack lunches for hikes. Large bathroom. Just be sure to say 'no' to the 'free lunch and tour' so you aren't stuck on a long sales pitch. Units do connect to each other via connecting door, but thankfully we had quiet neighbors and didn't hear them.
