Holiday rentals with a fire pit in French Broad River

I had a little trouble getting in with the keypad, but that is probably more about my lack of knowledge with keypad entries. 😂 The home was spotless when we arrived and we filled it with lots of laughter and fun! The back deck was amazing - even in a gentle rain. And, our last night there we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Mike and Cate were INCREDIBLY helpful and communicative. They answered every question within minutes and made us feel well taken care of. Departure was easy and they requested minimal prep for departure. They made staying at their home easy and comfortable. 👍

Awesome oasis in tree-covered canopy! We stayed at the airstream more then we ventured out! We loved the outdoor area and even took a nap on the sofa! We took numerous dips in the hot tub and grilled out! We loved the tree-lighted areas indoors and very detail has been thought out! Thank you for a wonderful getaway and would definitely recommend to others! Loved tubing with Brevard Tubing .3 miles away! Hiked to waterfalls in DuPont State Park. Well worth it! Beautiful! Walked in downtown Brevard to shop. A must!

All I can say is WOW!!! Pictures really don’t do this place justice. The attention to detail and how perfectly Ken made everything is amazing. I can’t wait to come back next year!

Brenda's place is fantastic - cute, clean, peaceful, and well stocked with everything I needed. It's a short walk to the lake, which is beautiful. Brenda was on top of communication and allowed us a late checkout. I would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at the creekside cabin! The proximity to the Oconaluftee Visitors Center (just over 30 min) was perfect for our explorations in GSMNP. The house is also very close to a Publix and Ingles for groceries, and local spots for gas, food, and necessities. Our days and evenings were spent in the NP, but we made sure to spend one evening on the porch alongside the creek - and it was bliss! The space accommodated us, our toddler, and our pup. It rained hard a couple evenings, so it was very handy to have TV streaming options available. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and tools, allowing us to easily make breakfast and dinners. Hand washing the dishes is no problem for us. :) We hope to stay here again so we can explore more of the NP and Maggie Valley’s surrounding area! Highly recommend!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay here! The view from the living room is spectacular on its own - not to mention the layout of the home is one of envy. I was taking notes on the tasteful and charming decor. We were lucky enough to be here on an evening when a storm was rolling in. Watching it approach from the porch was so incredibly relaxing. The only downside is there aren't really trails or anything close by, but I think the serenity and privacy you achieve on this property is second-to-none. We will definitely stay here again!

This was a wonderful place to stay! The home was beautiful and very clean. You’re close to everything in Canton and not far from Asheville or Waynesville. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay, Deborah had good communication! Beds were comfortable and great location for outdoor activities near by. Canton within 15 min drive, everything you would want: grocrey, restaurants and good coffee shop!

We enjoyed our stay. Rodney and Dulcy were very accommodating. Their apartment is conveniently close to a relative we were visiting in Woodfin.

We spent 3 days at Dawn and Ron’s Asheville home. Their space was very clean, smelled nice, and had every convenience you could possibly need. Unfortunately it was rainy during our trip so we didn’t take advantage of the outdoor amenities like the patio/grill or the goats, but they did greet us with wagging tails as we came and went! Loved the waffle bar and complimentary coffee - such nice touches that made breakfast a breeze! Also loved that they provided toiletries and washer/dryer. This space provided all the comforts of home, about 15 minutes to all the AVL activities. Dawn and Ron were very communicative and kind hosts. Would recommend their home to anyone!

This is my second time staying at this fantastic spot, and it was just as great as the first. They are wonderful hosts, the place is a real hidden gem, and the community has so much to offer. It certainly won't be my last time here!

This was a great unit, and I will definitely stay here again. The unit was very clean, free of clutter, and well equipped with everything we needed. The furniture appeared to be new, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was private, quiet and right beside a peaceful stream. I loved the country setting. Communication was excellent with Gabrielle.

We had a wonderful stay in Asheville, and we're very comfortable in this peaceful setting. Kelle and Max have created a beautiful space to stay. It's very clean, well equipped, and all directions and instructions clear and helpful. Kelle is a famous communicator, and quick to respond. Many thanks to them for providing a space that enhanced our travel experience! I will be recommending this place to friends!

Our family is always grateful to stay at Mary Ann's beautiful property! We've stayed here multiple times now and hope to continue to do so whenever our travels take us through the Asheville area. This property is truly a gem - peaceful, beautiful mountain view, a tree swing, lots of greenspace for the kiddos to run around outside after long car rides, comfortable big beds, a lovely bathroom, cozy living room and lots of much appreciated extras in the kitchen like KCups and creamers, pop tarts, waffles, water and juice. And if you ever need anything, Mary Ann is super responsive. It truly feels like a respite for us along long family trips, like getting to stop at a home away from home. We love this special place! Susan’s place was quiet, peaceful, and a great spot to spend a night in the Asheville area. She was super communicative about check-in, check-out, and anything else I needed.

We loved staying at Lara’s. Because of rainy weekend, the mountains were especially lush and foggy creating almost magical misty atmosphere. We were able to build a fire every night. Kitchen was perfectly stocked with nice scratch free pots/pans. Lots of nature and little towns to explore nearby. Thank you Lara - we would love to come back!

The Doe Branch Cabin was exceptional. Gracious and responsive hosts. Breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Homey and cozy cabin. My husband and I were looking for a relaxing stay in the middle of a road trip to FL - we found it 100%. Thank you to Amanda and Christian! 🌿🌼💕⛰️

The view from the porch was really beautiful, it wasn't a very walkable place though, but it is located on 209, the Rattler Road, famous for it's scenic drive, very popular with motorcyclists. We had some good ping pong matches on the back porch as well. It was good fun

So thankful to have found Jaclyn’s place. The view is breathtaking and she was the most responsive and kind host we’ve ever had. The chickens were such a cute addition to the stay! Will forever remember this place because I got engaged on the back patio 🥰 This place will forever be special to my fiancé and I and we will be back as soon as possible!! The pictures of the view from the kitchen and bedroom along with the 100 year old tub and massive shower don’t do it justice! Highly suggest you stay here if you can!

Staying at Lee’s cabin was an absolute dream. Perched atop a mountain with wide open views in every direction, the setting was peaceful and awe-inspiring. The home itself is a gorgeous 70’s modern build, full of character with striking angles, massive windows, and natural light pouring in from every side. It’s the perfect blend of style, comfort, and immersion in nature. Lots of stone, glass, and wood. Lee was a fantastic host—communication was clear, check-in was seamless, and everything about the experience felt easy and welcoming. I found myself wishing I could extend my stay, but I knew snagging more time at a place like this wouldn’t be easy! Truly one of the most memorable stays I’ve had. No complaints at all—just gratitude. I’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Modcabins in Asheville. The cabin was exactly as described. It was clean, the area was private, and it was the perfect get-away-from-home-for-the-weekend experience. We appreciated the amenities like the record player. The hot tub made for relaxing and beautiful views at sunset. We also got to experience a mom and cub black bears exploring the woods in front of the cabin as we were preparing for dinner; it was amazing watching them. We would recommend for anyone looking to stay in a cute little place for two looking for a quiet get-away together.

This was such a cute Airbnb, and exquisitely detailed. The porch was amazing, and I loved cooking in their kitchen, as I had everything that I needed with a beautiful gas range stove. The natural lighting, open concept, and modern rustic finishes make it worthy of booking. Additionally, Marshall is such a sweet little town. I will definitely return!

No matter how many times we travel on Airbnb in the future, we know The Nest will always be a hard stay to top. It looks beautiful from the pictures but is even more stunning in real life. The sunsets from the deck overlooking the mountains, the relaxing movie room, and the attention to detail exceeded our expectations. You can tell Hailey and Shaun put a lot of love into designing and maintaining this home. I cannot recommend this stay enough and will absolutely be back again to enjoy this little slice of paradise in the future.

Absolutely magical! Everything was perfect! Thoughtful touches everywhere, squeaky clean and the most comfortable bed! The soaking tub in the loft was fabulous! We can’t wait to come back!!!
