Our family stayed at the Lazy 8 for a weekend getaway. It was delightful. The house was cute, clean and perfect for the weekend. A wonderful charcuterie board was in the refrigerator for our arrival and it was delicious! We grilled out, relaxed on the porch, played games and watched deer graze on the property. The guys went fishing and the girls went to the drive thru safari! It was a blast. We look forward to planning our next stay here.

This is a great place to stay near Lake Fork and Emory. Very clean and comfortable with plenty space for parking. We had a great stay.

I have stayed at several places at many Texas lakes and so far this one is the best. The cabin is comfortable and had plenty of space for two. The grounds surrounding the cabin are very nice and well kept, with a good spot for parking our truck and boat trailer. The boat dock is large with plenty of space and amenities for whatever boating/fishing/relaxing activity one may want. Rich was very friendly and provided a lot of useful information on the lake and the surrounding area. We spoke several times during our stay and he made sure we were comfortable. If I go back to Lake Fork this will be my go-to place to stay.
