Monthly Rentals in Elk Valley

VERY clean, comfortable, and with near-new stuff inside this home! Lots of extras - coffee pods including decaf, bathroom towels, and kitchen pots and pans. VERY quiet and private location overlooking woods with back and front porch chairs to relax in. We enjoyed reading and relaxing after spending the day in the car. The mattress was a little firm for my husband but I slept great!

Had a lovely stay at the cabin! Everything was just as described and the scenery was beautiful. I wanted a peaceful writing retreat and it was perfect for that. Would recommend!

Carrie was a great host - Super nice and responsive. I wish the AC + dehumidifier were on when we arrived but otherwise we had all we needed (well planned/thoughtful amenities), the basement was spacious (we loved the pool table!), and the garden was beautiful! I recommend staying here! As a larger family we all slept well (4 kids on couches + provided mattress pad) - The bedroom mattress was soo comfy + great pillows + duvet/comforter. Annnd easy check out. Felt like staying with family! Heads up, the driveway proves difficult for a minivan turn around - Possible just difficult.

We stayed here for one night and had a lovely experience! The space was just the right size, clean, uncluttered, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing stay. What really stood out to us was how attentive and responsive Gary, the host, was. He made everything smooth and easy from start to finish, which we really appreciated. The only surprise was the location. We expected something a bit more remote or tucked away in nature. Instead, the home is in a neighborhood setting on a corner lot, with a business nearby and a couple busy roads. That said, once we settled in, the home felt cozy and comfortable, and we still really enjoyed our time there. Thanks again, Gary, for being such a great host!
