Monthly Rentals in Downie Island

michael was amazing with his responsiveness and checking in everyday through messages to make sure we were all good and if we needed suggestions on things to do in the area with our dogs!! they were super friendly, the cabin was beautiful and looks brand new, the screened in porch was our favorite part to relax day and night without bugs bothering us and the huge yard to watch the stars / let our dogs run around was just another plus!! i highly highly recommend staying with michael and if you’re looking for a peaceful, private, beautiful place to stay in the 1000 islands, look no further!! thanks again for being the best hosts & going above & beyond!! :)

Sheri's property is great! It is very close to Gananoque, barely a 5 minute drive. Tim was also very helpful with our check in and gave us great local recommendations. The basement apartment is very spacious and the pool table and table tennis are a nice touch for some fun activities. It is a true country property, so there are the occasional bug here and there (small ants etc) , but we understand this is common on a rural property. Unit was clean and Tim showed us everything we may need when we arrived. The highlight has to be the big yard space with the fireplace, which we really enjoyed one of the nights under the stars. Overall it is a great property for the area and the price. I would much rather spend my time in the area at this property than at one of the chain hotels in Gananoque that look pretty dated/run down. Thanks Sheri and Tim for a great stay, highly recommend.

We can’t say enough about what a wonderful trip we had! Ryan and Graylin were exceptional hosts who were very responsive, gave clear check in instructions and excellent restaurant recommendations! The loft is very spacious and in the perfect location for local shopping and good eats. We had everything we needed and can’t wait to come back again! Consider it a privilege if you are able to snag the place for a night away!

We had a great stay! Clean, well organized and close to all the attractions we were interested in. We used both the hot tub and the fire pit, nice features to have after a day out exploring. Will definitely recommend
