Monthly Rentals in Doon Lough

Margaret was friendly and met us on arrival. Good local recommendations given. The house was warm, very clean and cosy. A beautifully restored old cottage in a lovely location. We would happily stay again in the future. 5* for everything from us.

Joyce and Denis are ideal hosts. They exude all the excellent virtues that characterize the best of Irish warmth and hospitality. We greatly benefitted from their depth of knowledge of local history, as well as broader geographical and cultural points of interest. The cottage, and by extention, the village provide an excellent rural retreat. The property was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped, which perfectly suited our two-week stay. We will definitely return.

Eugene was a great host! He was flexible with check in times as we were exploring our way down the coast to his cottage, and met us to show us the amenities promptly when we arrived. The place was very cute, clean and as described. It was a lovely, peaceful stay in the countryside!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Brewhouse! It was perfect for our family of four. We used it as a homemade for day trips around the western part of Ireland. It was so nice having space to relax, spread out and have a home cooked meal after the hustle and bustle of Dublin. Adam and Cathy are EXCEPTIONAL hosts. They were very thorough and proactive in their communication, both with directions to the Old Brewery and with recommendations on local things to do and pubs/restaurants. At one point we had a question about the stove and Adam was able to pop right down and get us sorted in about 5 minutes. We especially enjoyed the welcome basket of scones! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! Thanks for a great stay and wonderful hospitality.
