Monthly Rentals in Curepe

My stay at Apt 304, Emerald Plaza was wonderful! The apt was as clean and neat as in the photos, and with a fully-equipped kitchen, I could not ask for more! It was ideally located for my purpose, which was to attend church over the Easter Triduum! Would recommend this place for anyone wanting the comforts of home, while away from home!

It is a small but stylish one bedroom flat perched at the back of a doctor’s office, who just happens to be Jean-Paul’s mum. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable. The location is central in St Augustine, so UWI and Starbucks are just a short walk away and there is a good Chinese-run general store/supermarket about 200 metres away. The kitchen is small but well-designed to fit an oven, fridge, microwave oven and blender and a good array of crockery and cutlery. There is a nice section to eat as well as a comfy sofa from which to watch the TV. It was a comfortable home from home. Will definitely try and stay again when I’m in Trinidad.

Alethea was a great host, she ensured we were comfortable and well taken care of. She responded to any queries we had promptly. The property is beautifully decorated and exactly as described/pictured. It was spotless and well equipped. You do have to take stairs to get to the property, so if you have mobility issues please take that into consideration. The property is located near a main road which leads to the town centre, it’s about a 30 minute walk or a 8/10 minute drive. It’s about a 20 minute drive to the airport and a 25 minute drive to Port of Spain. I would recommend either renting a car or trying to organise a driver as it can be difficult getting a taxi. Rideshare apps such as TTRS and DeliverMeTT can be very helpful but note it can take a while to get a driver to accept your ride due to where you are situated. All in all I would definitely stay at this property again. It was peaceful, immaculately kept and you really get to experience Trinidad in its authenticity.
