Beachfront holiday rentals in Chicago

The house was beautiful and in a very nice, safe neighborhood. There was some construction going on next door, but other than that, the place was everything we hoped it would be. We stayed here while we got married at a nearby venue in River North and it was able to accommodate our bridal party during our getting ready session and provide a quiet place to rest once our wedding was over.

No problem except for us French to find out how the kitchen utensils work and in particular the hood, a manual would be good, too bad for the bad weather the exteriors would have deserved to be used but the weather is not part of the package

Shomari was a great host, very friendly and gave great recommendations. We had all the towels and he had toiletry items in the bathroom and cooking items (spices, extra drinks) in the kitchen. My girls and I didn’t feel unsafe in the area, although finding street parking on the block can be tough, depending on the time of day. His place is a 25-30 min drive to downtown, soldier field and McCormick place, it can be less or more depending on the traffic. It was a great stay and I would recommend.

This home has everything you need, especially if you have a large group. It’s beautiful and in a great location. Very quick walk to all the great restaurants etc., but you don’t have the noise from them. Will is a great host and I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed apt. Emily and Roya are helpful and communicative, and all the instructions and photos made things very easy. Would happily stay there again!

We were in town to see a concert at Wrigley Field, and the location was fantastic. We walked to the concert, which was really helpful to not need to deal with getting an uber afterward. It was also a much shorter walk to tons of bars and restaurants, which we loved. The neighborhood was also beautiful and felt very safe. The apartment was perfect for a short stay and had the basics we needed.

Loved the place, very clean and exactly like the pictures. Very spacious and had all the required amenities. The only small issue is with parking, it’s a bit tricky to find and you might need to walk for 5-6 minutes from your parking spot to the apartment. It took us a good 15-20 minutes to find parking since it’s a residential area and street parking is mostly full. The locality is extremely safe and beautiful and right around the beach.

WWWWOOOWWW!! This host team was EXCEPTIONAL! I’ve stayed in plenty of AirBnBs, and I’ve NEVER encountered a host that was so EXTREMELY accommodating, responsive, and kind! Other hosts should take a page out of their book! The only thing I would change, and it’s not a bad thing (just a matter of preference); I would have some type of blinds or drapes over the living room windows. This will allow for privacy when you’re sitting in the living/dining room areas at night with the lights on inside. Hands down, we would without a doubt book with this team again! Demitri is a very good host, he will respond to your queries quickly. Location was nice - 603, Sheridan Rd, we could go to the lake beach which was only 2 mins walk away. Please do not bring a lot of heavy luggage as there is no elevator in the apt and this airbnb is on the 3rd floor (which is clearly mentioned in the description.) Overall amazing place to stay and enjoy the beautiful Michigan lake beach nearby!

Janet was very easy to communicate with, and the accommodations were spotless, welcoming, and complete with all needed amenities. The walk to the lake was easy, and walking to restaurants, grocery stores, and shops was convenient. The accommodations fit the description, the photos were accurate, and Janet was as helpful as can be.

This is a beautiful, old house right by the park and beach, plus a playground and adorable summer snack shack just a few minutes walk away. There's a lovely private back yard and deck for summer evenings. We especially appreciated the kitchen, which was well-stocked with all the dishes and equipment we needed to cook full meals for our large family. We stayed for an extended time, and whenever anything came up, our wonderful hosts were quick to respond and help. Thanks Keith for your hospitality!

I booked this Airbnb for my family during my wedding weekend. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms fit 5 people. Very large kitchen with a lot of equipments. This location is fantastic! Walking distant to all the shops and restaurants. Rasheed went above and beyond to our needs. We had a problem with the entrance door, but he fixed it right away. There’s some stairs, but the valet guy helped us with our luggages. Rasheed is the best Airbnb host I’ve ever met! I would come back here again.

Charming and Historic. The house is on a quiet streat in a beautiful area. Janet's place is an easy drive to everything Chicago or a quick walk to the beach. Evanston has great restaurants and shops too.
