Stayed for two nights to hike Katahdin with my mom to finish her thru-hike and this did the trick as a home base. Place matched the description and had everything we needed. Primary bedroom mattress sagged some in the middle - probably fine for one person, but it was noticeable with two people in bed.

Directions were very clear. Was setup with water and woodstove ready to light. If you want quiet off grid this is the place. The screened porch was perfect as the bugs were ferocious but typical for northern maine this time of year. Gene was helpful all weekend and even provided a jump to dead truck battery.

The place was cute and welcoming! Just what we were looking for as a base camp for our annual fall ATV trip! Corey and his wife were welcoming and treated us like family from the beginning! Would recommend this place to anyone!

Linda the person helping Frederick was very responsive. Actually got to meet her. She was very pleasant and helpful. The apartment was quiet, had everything I needed, good neighborhood, store across street, comfortable and made for a pleasant stay.
