This stay was ideal to get away from the tourist trap heavy of Georgetown. Bodden town and east part of grand cayman, is deal to look for more local people and who can give their recommendations for hidden gems, while also being some of the most friendly people. This stay is super close by a local shopping center where they have a super market making it easy to get essentials like water, snacks, and medicine (motion sickness pills are sold) while being next to a cafe for perfect morning coffee, and cell provider to get a temporary eSIM. As someone who prefers ideal laidback island vibes, this location is more closer to the remote, local east side, super amazing and overlooked on. Georgetown isn’t far, but as someone who only went into that part for scuba diving, east end is still the best. Overall this stay is the perfect getaway spot for a local feel of true Caribbean culture, foods, people and peacefulness.
