Our stay on the Isle of Lewis was absolutely unforgettable. The location was stunning — surrounded by rolling hills, sea views, and that peaceful, remote beauty the Outer Hebrides are known for. The home itself was cozy, clean, and full of character, with thoughtful touches throughout that made us feel immediately welcome. Waking up to the sound of the wind across the moor and watching the ever-changing sky from the windows was something special. We spent our days exploring the Callanish Stones, wandering quiet beaches, and enjoying local seafood. The host was kind, responsive, and gave excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat. If you're looking for a place to unplug, reconnect with nature, and experience the wild beauty of Scotland, this is it. Highly recommend, and we hope to return one day.

Lithir was a fabulous base to explore Lewis and Harris. We felt like we were coming home after a day out. Lithir was very comfortable with an extremely well equipped kitchen. The local Community Coop had a friendly atmosphere and was well stocked. Communication with Kenny was helpful and easy, Mairi was so very helpful and kind. Thank you for all the special treats and making a week here so very memorable.
