It is a beautiful place with lovely decor, amazing balcony and views, bus stop 1 min from the apartment. The host was nice and helpful. The whole place gets 100 points from us.

The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

The place looks just like it does in the photos. We used the kitchen every morning for breakfast, and it had everything we needed. There's a supermarket just a one-minute drive away, and Pico do Arieiro is about 25–30 minutes by car. Unfortunately, we arrived during a storm, and it was a bit cold inside at first. However, there was a heater available, which we placed between the bedrooms, and it kept us comfortable. Andreia was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, even assisting us with an early check-in.

Our family stay at this place was perfect. The house, large and beautiful, is in a cul-de-sac and therefore very quietly located. Sandro is friendly, considerate, and responsive. I totally recommend it.

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

This bnb is perfectly located by the Madeira promenade. It’s walkable to the historic city centre and has many restaurants and bars close by to explore local food. The hosts Jason and Monica, were extremely friendly and always responsive. They even gave a series of local recommendations for us. They provide everything .. we stayed 4 nights as a couple and the room was perfect. The bedding and mattress extremely comfortable. There is also a walkable car park if you need one. We will definitely come back!

Wonderful place to stay, balcony was nice to sit and take in the beautiful ocean view! We had a larger vehicle, parking was tight because of that but Adriana and Dusan’s offered alternatives. Would definitely recommend!

Simply paradise! We felt super comfortable from the first moment. The accommodation is the best we've ever been to - perfect for switching off and letting your mind wander. Everything was super clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The garden and the pool are fantastically beautiful and offer absolute relaxation. Waking up in the morning with a view of the sea and the sound of the waves was simply priceless. The kitchen in the accommodation is well equipped – and cooking in the outdoor kitchen was a real highlight, there was really nothing missing. Communication was very warm and uncomplicated throughout. The accommodation is in a small, charming village with a few restaurants where you can eat wonderfully. You can enjoy fantastic sunsets on the beach - a real experience! There is also a small supermarket nearby for daily needs. We will definitely be back!

The accommodation is as described, Tony was very attentive with the arrival instructions and provided all the necessary information. Very good transport links if you need it, restaurants on the same street, as well as a small shop for the basics you may need, good location for walks by the sea and the views are very beautiful, I recommend it to spend a few days and enjoy everything the island has to offer. Thoroughly enjoyable week spent at Monika’s place. The apartment was clean, light, spacious and had all of the required amenities. The location was perfect for exploring the island; the area is much more relaxed, peaceful and chilled out compared to Funchal yet only a 10-15min drive from central Funchal. Host communication was brilliant and we took advantage of the car rental recommendation from the host which was also great! Apartment has a fantastic balcony area and we enjoyed sitting out in the early evening after a long day hiking with a beer. Some great local restaurants available too. Would definitely return.

Great location, close to the highway for easy access to the various attractions. Nice location, around 10 -15 minute walk to great restaurants. Comfortable "European" beds, a nice shower, and a washer were available for our stay. Good kitchen size with all you would need. We do not cook on vacations!

stayed here recently and absolutely loved it. short drive to funchal and amazing walks close-by. the place itself was really clean, quiet. the pool was lovely with the best views from our room. Will definitely be back

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

Nice apartment, equipped with all the comforts. Private parking in garage. Very close to the ocean. Quick and friendly contact with owner. Lovely location to explore the island.

We enjoyed the individuality of the apartment and the outdoor space . It is up a hill but all good exercise ! The bus stop for the ride to Monte Palace Gardens is close by and makes a lovely day out . Carlos is welcoming and the apartment is lovely and clean .

I consider my stay in Jennifer's apartment to be one of the best I have ever had. Our group felt very comfortable in the apartment, we had a lot of space and everyone could spend time freely. The view from the balcony was great, the view of the ocean and the surrounding banana plantations pleased our eyes. We prepared meals ourselves in the kitchen, which was fully equipped and there was a lot of dishes and cutlery. In the room with a grill and billiards, we had a great time in the evenings, everyone found something for themselves ;) I highly recommend staying with Jennifer, the best option you can find on the island. Greetings and I wish all new guests a wonderful time on this beautiful island
